Does Riot even read logs on complaints?

I really do not think they do. That riot has no idea what they are suspending people for. It seems like it is just a BS automated system that is completely failing. Today I got trolled from the beginning of a match because the person is mad that I will not switch rolls with them in a draft. Sorry the system is set that sometimes you get auto filled. Happens to everyone including me. So now Im stuck with a troll Verbally harassing me from the start of the game, not just about ingame idiocy but about real life. So I refuse to play alongside him (Im ADC he is Support) and leave the area. He continues to talk crap about me the entire game so I start talking crap back to him about in game stuff like how Im out killing him. He points out he is 2.4M prestige and I need to bow to him. I point out that he is Iron4 with that 2.4m prestige and Im bronze 3 with 36 levels of newb xp so he shouldn't be talking skill. Anyways we both file reports and Im sure others filed on one or both of us as well. So now Im forced to do a 10 game no chat ban. That's fine as I rarely type anyways just ping. I do think it is complete BS that riot feels comfortable punishing me for reacting to both LoL and RL harassment. My only in game recourse is to accept that blatantly incorrect punishment. What other actions are afforded to me?

Rule violations do not become okay because someone else started it.

You can mute and report him and just play as your recourse.

Take responsibility for your own actions. It doesn't matter what they do, your actions are your own.

All good and valid points that I do agree with. The point still remains that Riot did not look at logs and does not care about toxic behavior. If they did, this troll would have been banned long ago. (assuming he is always like this, maybe he just had a bad day and took it out on me) The reason why LOL is so toxic is that by not actually looking at logs and not actually protecting the community they are endorsing troll and toxic behavior. Anyways back to clicking "understand" and collecting my normal GG's and thumbs up.
