Food for thought, Im 26 Y/O that's served in the army, I come across many of you all day who talk so much $#%^ thinking they cant be touched behind there screen. Your absolutely right, but just remember if you ever said half the shit you do in game to someone like me inrl. Well, it dosnt go over so well. Warning to the wise because I need to vent, and this game lures to many young kids its a shame, as its a good post - secondary game.

You realize that's a hoax used by the military industrial complex to force you to adhere to their unnecessarily strict "die for your country" mentality right? They basically teach people to throw their lives away for some rich oil snob to make a profit from, or some contractor to make a quick buck. You can parade around and demand respect but trying to be grizzly and tough towards the citizens you claim you are protecting doesn't go over well. People would think you just enjoy being a bully and killing. People should go to war to protect, not to kill and bully others. Just my two cents on this whole military bravado thing. I still respect the true efforts servicemen and women offer, but there are quite a bit of phonies in there too.

Those who hold opinions silently should be more feared than those who speak their minds. The reason people serve in the military differs from person to person. Some military people would find you telling me to stay silent to be disrespectful, because they fought for my right to voice my opinion, however unfavorable it may be. Telling me to not voice my opinion is basically declaring tyranny and inciting a dictatorship. You always fear communism, not realizing that your fear makes you more likely to fall into it, only under the guise of patriotism. Also, if you read my post fully, you'd realize I am against unnecessary casualties, which means I do care about service members. Instead of dying for another man's profit, I'd rather them survive to come home to their families. I was just saying that many who never see war come back and use their position to assert dominance in a police state mentality, when the true heroes stay reserved and truly are people I look up to.

You're implying that the united states armed forces is some industry that is encouraging people to give their lives for profit. That's basically undermining the whole organization that staffs people to protect our country and freedom, because you believe that its some kind of hoax in order to make money through sacrificing soldier's lives for natural resources. I have a younger brother in the military and my father served for over 30 years before retiring. To imply that the organization that they work for is only interested in profit is what I find disrespectful.
Also, I can't tell you to do anything, but I will again advise you to keep that kind of bullshit to yourself, because it will offend people who actually do serve in the military.

Most people in the military aren't in it for profit, but the organization itself is corrupt based on the top tier of leadership.

That argument instantly kills any decent discussion, but it can lead to some dark paths.Of course people do not want to disrespect anyone - much less people going through stuff soldiers are going through, but that does not mean we can't question WHY we put them through literal hell.
Criticism is NOT the same as disrespect. In fact, I'd argue that NOT discussing the aims and endgoals of those hells is a major disrespect. Yes, you need to question the motives of war. Every single day. If you don't, someday you WILL find all of those peoples lives were thrown away for nothing. Even if the outcome of every single discussion is "sure, it was worth it", you should never - EVER - stop questioning the motives of war and the military - and yes, the industry and politics behind them.

This Is Your Dad2 votesI am not attacking the people that die for a cause, more or less the cause itself. The military is composed of individuals with differing moral compasses and political and socioeconomic alignment, and as such I can attack parts of the military without addressing it as a whole. It has long been suspected that the top of the military branches are corrupt and profit off of war, promoting it where it isn't necessary and signing useless defense contracts that most likely will never be implemented.

This Is Your Dad2 votesI understand that such content is a hot issue, but there is a reason for this, and a lot of it has to do with "If you fear questioning the military, you cannot truly know what it is they are doing." Being afraid to question or scrutinize the military is a very bad thing. It paves the way towards corruption, and is how some other less reputable leaders/dictators seized power.
