Saying Thank you in a toxic world
Dear Best Karma EUW,
i want to say thank you for the match we just had. I know, playing Brand mid is a very unthankful job. You do all the damage, just so our jungle Vi can take all the 3 kills you accomplished completely on your own. But this frivolous player, who shall not be named had the audacity to take your rightfully earned solo kills and "ks", to use your own words, with her ult.
Truly, these are hard times. What is the purpose of life even, when other people can take away your kills in a video game? When we don't even have our virtual world to retreat to, because we have no accomplishemnts in real life?
Seeing you standing up for yourself and show this bully that you will not be treated this way was really inspiring. It reminded me of Ghandi or that guy in China in the 70's who stood in front of the tank (you know the guy). Not with hate or poisonous work did you show your resistance, but with actions, calm, peacefull and pacifistic. You layed down your arms and showed the world, not everything is about kills. Standing still doing nothing while the enemy is hitting you over and over again is a testiment of your resillience.
After you may or may not have died multiple times on prupose or not on purpose (while standing still on lane) does not matter; what matters is that after you may or may not have died 10 times intentionally or unintentionally, Vi finally apologized to you. You broke her bully spirit with the prospect of loss in a otherwise decisive game. But you also showed me that it's not only about being right once. Even after you got her into submission, you countinued your peacefull approach. How important is winning one game when you have so much to teach?
While not fighting the enemy directly you cleared their jungle while they were distracted with our three inhibs. They surely never would have expected to come back to an empty jungle, if not for the destruction of our nexus.
And even if someone missinterpreted your behavior, even if you get unrightfully punished, you will be the Nelson Mandela of 2018. We have come too far as a society to get our kills stolen unpunished.
No power to bullies, stand your ground folks!
