Low Elo Ranked Games

Hello, now I'm sure people hear this often enough about Elo Hell and people being stuck there, like myself. But I see how people climb out and get into a Elo that better matches their use of mechanics and knowledge of the game. But meanwhile I STUDY this game. The champions, their abilities and counter-picks. Yet it's baffling to me at how I'm stuck in Bronze 3 after starting this ranked season at Silver 5 a month ago. This was my first time in Ranked and I was excited, yet hesitant to even try ranked. The players I'm matched up with often have no comprehension of what they should do in the pick and ban stage much less CSing in laning phase. I often feel like they're merely monkeys who've found their way onto a game of LoL as part of a science experiment by P.E.T.A. I play Jungle mostly because I feel like it is easier to try and carry from there since I can provide a large effect on other lanes and give them advantages. Yet in doing this they become greedy and get caught out numerous times whilst they push their lane to the Inhib turret 15 min in. I try to speak to them and be the shot caller yet I am ignored. And this seems to happen every game. Any tips or black magic that someone can share to a noob? :) I really feel I don't belong here (YEAH BUT EVERY BRONZE PLAYER SAYS THAT 3NIGMA!!) Yeah, yeah but I get told this by many of the enemies I play and even teammates who know their place. Any and ALL help i greatly appreciated. (And sorry for the long rant)

i have a few tips,

  1. dont play jungle

  2. play support

  3. get good at leona braum thresh blitz nautilus nami lulu

  4. ward the F out of the map

  5. mute everyone at the start and use pings unless ur duod with an adc in which case mute everyone except him

  6. after 800 something ranked games this season my acct is bronze 4 i did manage to make silver 4 before tilting hard af.... i redid placements on a smurf and playing vayne 6 games out of 10 of my placements and kindred for the remaining 4 games i placed into silver 2.... high silver elo is much better they start realizing when someone says adc pref and someone else says jg pref that those are the roles they are good at and they will 9/10 give u your role.... most players are decent at more than 1 role once u hit around silver 3... so the grind stops being so bad after silver 3...

  7. if u do want to play jungle play the following champions only to completely 1v5 sh*t on the enemy team.... -VI -YI -Kindred(requires more mechanical skill and amazing decision making) -Xin Zhao -Wukong(bad til 6 but after that just get your team to group and preferably duo queue with a yasuo god and its gg)

8.if you have any questions feel free to add my bronze acct as ill be playing it all day trying to get it out of bronze by end of season lol its ign: Sensen no sen

1.Lose the god complex, you may belong higher(or may not) but there is always more to learn. 2. Knowing =/= Doing. Knowing everything is different from using it in practice. Put your knowledge to practice, such as you know X champion beats Y champion. You know why and how, use it. 3. Learn a role you eblieve you can carry from 4. Ward 5 WARD 6. Worry about you, not others. You can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink. Constantly telling your teammates to do stuff, which they continue not to do, is a waste of time. 7. Some other stuff i can't think of right now honestly

Anyway add me in game, I'm almost Diamond and i can probable give you some pointers when i have time.

Before you reply something saying I'm wrong blablabla, I was gold S2, diamond S3, plat S4 and plat currently, I might not be the best player out there, but I know the game fairly well and I'm pretty sure I have more experience than you in MOBAs in general.

  • Have good mentality Always be positive, don't tilt, if you tilt, take a break, or fix your attitude all-together.

  • Be ready to play a rank Play a normal game / ARAM / Dominion game to warm up & get into it before going into ranked.

  • If you lose, before queuing, look at what you did wrong that game with lolreplay, op.gg replay etc You can't fix your teammates, but you can fix your mistakes.

  • Have a good champion pool ( pick 2 in each role, here's some recommendations ) Mid: Morgana Viktor Azir Orianna Anivia Yasuo Top: Darius Darius Fiora Irelia Tryndamere Chogath Vladimir Jungle: MonkeyKing XinZhao JarvanIV Elise Nidalee ADC: Kalista Caitlyn Tristana Support: TahmKench Alistar Braum Leona

  • Buy wards If you got the yellow trinket, always upgrade it, it cost 250, but it gives you so many wards it'll reimburse itself very fast

  • 5 people doing something slightly retarded is better than 1 person dying doing something smart Always try to group late game

  • Lose your superiority complex If you were that much better you'd already be out of bronze

  • Stop arguing with your team, blaming your team, talking with your team ... Only type relevant to the game things, as I said above, you can't fix your team, but you can fix YOURSELF

From your post I can see a few issues that may be contributing to your inability to climb... and it's not necessarily your knowledge/mechanics.

I often feel like they're merely monkeys who've found their way onto a game of LoL as part of a science experiment by P.E.T.A.

Insulting other players does nothing to make them want to work with you. Either they'll start arguing back, or they'll just decide to ignore you and do their own thing.

Taking a leadership position isn't just calling shots. It's also about acknowledging when your teammates make good plays and owning up to your own mistakes. If you're trying to to shot-call and no one pays attention, most likely it's because your behavior hasn't given them a reason to trust your judgement.

Focus on your own play and your own behavior. Don't worry so much about what other players are doing. And remember this: The more time you spend in chat, the less time you have to react to changing game situations. And if you are harranguing teammates, you may be distracting them at exactly the wrong time.

Go to this page

Watch these videos and apply what you see. Specifically watch the verbal lessons for silvers and golds because they're going to apply to your situations as well.

What I can tell you looking at your op.gg is that your champions are inappropriate for your ranking because of their requirements, your CS numbers are low, and your vision denial could be better. You buy and use wards regularly, so you have that going for you, but you should be clearing wards as well as placing them. You also don't have a very large sample size - you've played 73 games.

A major thing I can tell you is that you're putting too much emphasis on things that aren't important for you. Pick and ban phase isn't all that important at your ranking, and counter matchups mean practically nothing unless it's something that's a hypercounter (Garen into Riven for example), but even then, you can almost always outplay a matchup if you're good enough. Your prime focus should be CS'ing and not dying (you die a lot) coupled with waiting for your opponent to make a mistake and punish them for it.

You have to make the decision whether or not you want to just climb or if you want to improve at the game. Eventually, improving at the game will get you climbing the ladder, but if you only want to climb the ladder, you're not going to learn as much. For example, you can do something like spamming Tryndamere top and split pushing all game and cheat some ranking, but you won't learn that much about the game since you're not exactly playing it.

Overall, play more games and play the simple champions that will let you learn the game. Learn what you should do in a given situation, and be patient enough to wait for your opponent to screw up and then punish them for it. Bloodthirst and overaggression aren't always the answer, and if you botch the mechanical aspect, you put yourself way behind. Focus only on yourself and what you can do better, not your teammates and how stupid they might be (I promise you, you'll get idiots left and right). You're the only common denominator in your games, so only things that you can do differently are what you should concern yourself with.
