14-day Ban for not wanting to play a 3v5...

Had an Anivia that lost lane, and was raging. I came in to gank her lane (Lux Support), and we secured a double kill, and I saved his life. I needed a few gold before my back, so I took 2 caster minions. He legit rage quits on the spot. After that, our Tristana leaves, and now it's a 3v5. I didn't want to play a 3v5, so I sat in well. The game was already over, and we couldn't ff because he was afking. I was instantly banned after this game... Does Riot not even look at reports, and evaluate the accuser?

Is there a way to dispute this?

Was this a ban for toxic communications (i.e. chat), for which you received chat logs, or a ban for intentionally feeding or some other issue? Please give us more information - what was the ban for, and provide the evidence Riot gave you in the ban message (logs, game links, etc).

Giving up is a punishable offense, and there's no good reason for you to not play it out. Sure, Anivia ragequit and Tristana AFK'ed, but, is that seriously a good reason to join them?

And what should it matter who reports you? Riot doesn't need to evaluate who's sending reports, they only need to evaluate who the reports are filed against.

As for disputing it, like exitforever said, you'll want to submit a Support Ticket. If Riot sees reason to, they may overturn your ban, but I wouldn't personally get my hopes up.

I didn't say anything wildly offensive, but I was pretty rude to the guy who deserved it. Some of my chat will be taken out of context since there isn't my team's chat, but my teammates were raging that I was also going to sit in well after the 1 guy left, and the other guy was just auto pushing bot and dying:

You were fine until the second half of your chat logs. While I don't agree that you should be punished for things you type in chat, you did constantly insult in the later half of your log.

I have seen people get banned for one response IN ONE GAME after 7 years of playing this game. It is dumb as all hell. But that is Riot and their rules. If they are going to keep this very dumb system in place until the game dies, then they should at least let the offenders know when they are being offensive before banning someone like it is no big deal.
