14day ban for that chatlog... I quit playing and just remembered why I did. People feed or have a nonexistent presence then bitch at the one winning lane for not carrying everyone and if they're playing with equally as bad buddies then you automatically get mass reported.. Holy shit, LoL is doing so many things wrong. I love the dismissal of the rest of the chatlog as well, what a perfect example. Sorry I cant carry all 3 lanes as bot and the only winning lane.item 3070 item 3070 item 3070 item 3070

The 14 day ban isn't because you were mass reported. It's a natural progression of the punishment system after having a 25 game chat restriction.

From the Instant Feedback System FAQs:

PUNISHMENTS GENERALLY FOLLOW A BASIC ESCALATION PATH:

  • First Offense: 10 Game Chat Restriction
  • Second Offense: 25 Game Chat Restriction
  • Third Offense: Two Week Suspension
  • Fourth Offense: Permanent Suspension

However, it is possible to skip to a Two Week or Permanent suspension based on the severity of the behavior in the game. Excessive negative behavior can result in a Two-Week or Permanent suspension at any time without having a chat restriction on the account.

If you hadn't had any previous punishments before, then no, this match wouldn't have been enough to take you directly to a 14 day suspension. But you do start out trash talking quite a bit.

This sort of chat is not necessary, and these taunts are not positive or conducive towards winning the match. And if you had a 25 game chat restriction, and didn't work it off with positive gameplay, then they are enough to take you to the next punishment level.

That makes even less sense.. I havent played in 6months and I clearly didnt have a chat restriction if I'm able to type. So as I said, I got a 2 week ban for talking back to a feeding and equally as toxic premade group.

If you had one prior to taking a break from playing league, and did not work it off with positive gameplay, then your account is still in the "negative" area. Once a punishment has been served, it doesn't reset the account back to a perfectly clean behavior record. The account has to spend time playing and showing consistent, positive behavior after the punishment before it is considered back in positive standing. The more severe the punishment, the more games of positive play it takes for an account to be worked back into positive standing. An account will not simply be considered in good standing after a period of time. It has to have positive gameplay. That doesn't mean that the player has to be honored, or that they have to win the matches, simply that they have to play without being reported for negative behavior.

That said, if you had a 25 game chat restriction 6 months ago, and took a break from league, then you may not have had enough games of positive behavior after that chat restriction. If you were reported for this only a few games after you started playing again, then in the system that shows a continued escalation of negative behavior within a short span of games played. Did you have a chat restriction before you took a break from league?

And I'm sure you've heard this many times, but I'll say it again. Premade groups cannot abuse the system with mass reports. It doesn't work that way. The Instant Feedback System is designed specifically to account for that, and it does not give their reports the same weight as if they were being submitted by strangers.

Breaks from playing don't count toward good behavior. You have to be playing and behaving.

Yes! and you deserve it . thee is no justification for becoming verbally abusive in a video game .

If you want to stress out over a video game is your issue not anyone else

Im 100% fine with that, but unless everyone gets banned for "name-calling" as if we're all still in kindergarten then no one should be banned. I'm certain that premade of scrubs who fed didnt and mass reported me get banned even though they've called me worse. If someone on the internet calling you a scrub in a game hurts your feelings when you and your buddies are feeding that much then you probably are in fact a scrub.

I guess LoL has become a safe-space for people who cant handle reality, even though it is the internet.

mute everyone, troll them via passive aggressive plays then report them when they flame you. that is the new paradigm for success at league of legends

If someone on the internet calling you a scrub in a game hurts your feelings when you and your buddies are feeding that much then you probably are in fact a scrub.

I'm sure you did not get punished for Just calling someone a "scrub". There is more to it then that.

Why do people assume because they are on the internet that things are less hurtful ? Honest question here.
