so my friend and i were playing really bad games. we have 8 posted losses together mostly because he gets mad. but he is now in a lower priority queue for leaving the last 2 games. and nothing happens when he sits in matchmaking for 20 minutes. does anyone have any idea what is going to happen? is he S.O.L. or is there hope?

Does any of you close down the notification window whie waiting, that restarts the waiting time. everybody that is premade with the leaver has to sit through the waiting time with that warning window open.
with notification window I mean that thing that counts down from 20 minutes to zero
He will have to play 5 games with the 20 minute LPQ. He does not have to win them, but he will have to sit through the queue penalty, and as far as I am aware is not allowed to use the shop or other areas of the client while in the LPQ. It's basically designed to ensure that he cannot be distracted from the queue popping. He might want to look at the Support FAQ page that Kei143 linked, as it covers the basic questions, and he also might want to strongly consider not leaving any more games. 20 minutes is the longest penalty on the Low Priority Queue, beyond that point the player's account may be considered for suspension of they continue to leave/afk.
