Hacked, Banned -- and told there's no evidence so I'm out of luck?

Hi everyone, I'm trying to escalate my issue because the ticket I submitted was not resolved successfully. I've been playing League casually since Season 3, spent a lot of money in seasons 4 and 5 unlocking a ton of skins and all the characters up to Aurelion Sol--but since last Spring I've been working two jobs and married so gaming has been forced to take a back seat to real life. Still, League is one of the best games I've ever played and I always hoped when I didn't need to work so much I'd get back to playing.

So imagine my surprise when a couple days ago while I'm out of town for work I get an email indicating someone was trying to reset my password. I immediately changed it myself, but decided to install the client and check my account to make sure everything is alright--only to find out I've been banned since last January. I found the notice in my trash can and honestly had never seen it.

I checked out my match history and it appears shortly after Christmas someone started playing as me. By 2016 I had made a lot of attempts to narrow my champion pool playing a lot of mid and top, when I jungled it was with Zac or Nocturne most of the time. The hacker obviously liked Jayce, Rengar, Pantheon and played ADC way more frequently than I would.

I'm asking for someone to take a deeper look than was possible in the 13 minutes it took a support person to respond to my inquiry. I've supported this game financially and participated in it's reddit community, made a strong effort to better myself as a player and ensure I was a positive influence in games. If you can't find any tangible evidence of the hack then perhaps you could combine logic with just a little bit of reasonable doubt and give me a second chance:

Long time player with hundreds (maybe $1k+) invested in skins and characters who has -no- history of cheating stops playing for months and when he does come back completely changes not only the characters he plays and plays them at a much different proficiency level--but then also starts cheating and gets the account banned? I have way too much invested to ever risk my account like that.

This wasn't me. Please help me get my account back.

Same thing happened to me, you are fucked.

The end all response will be, "Well you should have had better password security, just start a new account, that is all we can tell you."

IE, 'We don't give a fuck, get rekt'.

Though they will use polite terms to say everything. I mean, they wouldn't want to come off as uncaring monsters, would they?

Good luck man I hope they resolve it. If it was hacked, I believe it's their policy to tell you that you are responsible for your own account security. So yeah... good luck.

You tell support that you believe the account was compromised, and have them forward you to the fraud dept.

If what you say is true then they should be able to help. However, if you were ELO boosting, then they won't help you.

they don't care. Perma-banning people increases their revenue.......they would rather you make a fresh account and spend another 1k. They claim you are responsible no matter what then take away your account. They argue semantics like...we target the account not the player....like somehow that doesn't fuck over the player. I had my 1st ever account hacked and the response from riot was basically a "fk you" :(

I was playing a game with my friend and he took a break to go eat dinner and then 60 seconds later someone hacked his account and started playing and actually played the game with me, so i was in a game with a complete stranger pretending to be my friend but my friend was in the skype call not playing the game. It was really fucked. Apparently my friend was retarded and set his password to be the same as his username. Anyways after the game he changed his account password and was never bothered with again. If anything good came out of this the guy who hacked him was better and won the game for us :3.

But this really sucks bro im sorry this happened to you. What ive gathered from riot is that they quite simply dont give a fuck. Like they would rather you start a new account and pay more money than get your old account back which in my opinion is the same thing as saying "fuck you". I would try to sue riot but then again i have no clue what im talking about as im only 18. Good luck though.
