Autoban System Could Use Some Tweaking

Putting your account in the hands of people in the league of legends community is just asking for people to be unfairly banned. I received a 14 day suspension after I may have been somewhat unreasonable and rude, but upon returning, I decided to turn a new leaf and change my mentality in games. Surprise surprise, my first 5 games were blow out wins and I didn't receive a single report. On my 6th game, I played with a warwick who admitted this was his first time playing a ranked game. He came mid to gank my lane, but waited until the opponent was nearly under her own tower to ult her, which let her escape. I asked him why he waited so long to ult, and told him it wasn't a great gank, and him and his duo went on a rampage, begging everyone in the game to report me for being toxic and flaming, meanwhile they were flaming me for being 1-3, calling me a feeder, troll, etc. Not even 3 minutes out of this game at the end, my account was perma banned. How am I supposed to reform when I get automatically permabanned for reports that aren't accurate? What is the point of the 14 day suspension warning if you aren't given a second chance to reform, and are simply perma banned from the first set of reports that you get?

I hope to hear a legitimate response/explanation for this.

  • Can't make judgements unless you provide the chat logs, otherwise who knows if it was deserved.
  • There are a ton of levels to the punishment system, including chat restrictions. It's not hard to just not use chat.

is the report accurate though?

post the chat logs and we'll see.

the "liberal special snowflake" mentality has infected the league community

There isn't actually anything that can be done about that. Its intended to have the community decide what is bannable, which is very unfortunate considering how sensitive and easily offended the community is.

Aren't permanent bans handed out by Riot personally, or has this changed?

Well I mean, that's kind of ingenious considering how many players they now have. Hard to see it doing anything wrong or unjustly banning anyone... just /r for your chat with a friend.
