Can riots make asking for reports while game is still going a bannable offense?

Report system should work silently and anonymously and don't provoke players to shout X9 EVERYBODY which people think is a correct course of action whenever they encouter something they don't like. Let's get chat be used only for constructive talkings.

Asking for reports PERIOD is unsportsmanlike / breaking the summoners code which is to say "Reportable"

It is worth pointing out that there is a difference between "report X for toxicity" once in post game chat and "report X for feeding" "report X for feeding" "report X for feeding" "report X for feeding" "report X for feeding" "report X for feeding" "report X for feeding" every someone dies. The latter is considered toxic, the former is not.

I'm pretty sure both are considered toxic. Of course you won't get a chat restriction for doing it once, but it contributes towards a punishment nonetheless.

I still call for reports generally when they are deserved and have never once been punished. I would say ive called for reports at least 1000 times.

maybe its time to stop allowing a report button to be used as a weapon.

ban leavers and griefers and just leave it at that. the mute button is there for a reason, use it

Yep. Or just outright remove the chat like they did with the in-client public chat all those years ago. As we can now ping pretty much everything, and jungle timers are available to everyone, there's no longer a need for it.

We can make friends when games are over.

It is a punishable offense already. It falls under harassment since it's a form of bullying.
