I love LOL and I love how much hard work you guys have put into, I sincerely thank you.

This is a rant or expressing an honest opinion or whatever you call it.

I've been having a real hard time losing streak on rank games.

I know everyone has been there and will get there.

I will take the blame and admit my mistakes and adjust if I am the problem.

I might be getting tilted, I can't hide that for sure but, whenever I lane mid, I dominate them.

But, I'm always getting an awful ADC or JG or TOP, I know some of you will say just stfu and carry them all, okay all I can say is that I'm not good enough to carry them all.

I'm getting feeders, afks, trolls 20 games in a row... you can check my history.

I love the game and I support it by buying RP's, if I want to get my money and time worthy, you guys have to step up a little more on this balancing issue.

Like, have a rank game that allows to play ONLY CHAMPION level 5 and up, because I've had enough of trolls "trying out" a champ for the first time.

I know because of smurfs sometimes the balancing can be hard just by their ranks but you guys have millions of dollars to figure that one shit out.

And please, give us like two or even ONE "dodge" coupon that we can use for a day or 3 coupon per week or whatever OR even I will pay with RP points for that coupon because especially when I'm promo, there are horrid trolls that are taking my lane.

I'm pretty sure you guys do get millions of reports everyday, but let's make sure cursing family and all that shit gets a minimum month ban. Make sure trolls don't take that "internet cyber fighting" lightly.

I play like 10 hours a day, this summer break has been great because I'm playing LOL but, I'm just getting fed the fuck up by this losing streak.

I dont get mad losing, but I get mad how your LP is determined by this stupid queue luck.

If anyone feels the same fraustration, or have some tips how to calm this shit down, please leave me a comment.

Thanks!

you... actually have some good points but I think you are taking it to the extreme on much points making the points seem mute.

this isn't a bad idea, but why not simply limit it to champion level 2 instead of 5, this is at least one two games and stops people from first trying champions.

this is a popular statement and while I think that the punishment of ending a promo by a leave is absolutely broken, I think the system would slow down more than you can imagine. I for example play 3/4 ranked games a month most of the times. If i get 2 leaves a month which I would use, the system would slow down so drastically that I think that the bonuses gained are to small to give the old sytem up.

10 hours a day might be too much too, I suggest you to only game for 1.5 hours at a time taking 30 minute breaks doing something else.

edit: oh and make the title something that represents the text you write down. "my problems with the current ranked system, what I think should change"

  1. Have you observed a majority of your games being balanced?
  2. Do you believe the placement and rank system is based on individual skill?

  1. no, they are either balanced in my favor in my disadvantage. when the elo system was still up i could even give you the exact chance of losing or winning based on that. Nowadays i can say that your winrate chance is inbetween 40 and 60 percent based on how you are placed.

  2. yes I do and here is why: you are with 5 players against 5 players. I will give them a random score that represents how good they are. 1= bad, 10 equals good. the best player is a 10 all the others are a percentage of how good the 10 is.

now lets see the enemy team made out of perfect average players:

enemy team p1: score 6 p2: score 6 p3: score 6 p4: score 6 p5: score 6 average score 30/5=6

p1:score 10(let's say this is you) p2:score 5 p3:score 5 p4:score 5 p5:score 5 average score 30/5=6

as a really good player you would statistically be able to carry a team that is worse then the enemy overall. You can also use you bigger knowledge against worse players to help them up to a 6 for this game. give warding advice, make calls have map awareness, take objectives etc. you can as a single player dictate the flow of this game. Not all the time but most definitly a lot of the games.

O.o I really like this explanation. I shall link it in the future if that's ok with you Deathgod.

Its fine by me.

Thanks a bunch^^

Understandable, but this is a flawed system. A player, despite knowledge and skill, should not be forced to carry any game at all.

It is one thing to play well. It is another to counter players who are making bad decisions without positive results. Dying to destroy tower? Could be worth. Dying chasing in the fog when you have a ward? Not worth.

Now, imagine in your same scenario, that the skilled/knowledgeable had a mid to late game champ that was not able to reach full potential? That can negative their ability to carry and makes comebacks 45+ mins.

Yet you can't expect a perfectly balanced system. That is the problem I have with many of those arguments. Even if the system was balanced, nobody would notice because sometimes a player would still troll/afk/feed. Even in perfect matchmaking balancing starts to tip into someone's favor.

As for picking a 45 minute champ. If you were able to easily carry games early on with a strong late game champ, it would be broken, because you would have no disadvantages for that pick.

edit: sentence mistake fixed.

I disagree. Balancing champs is just as important as understanding team compositions. Players whose certain champs due to dashes/escapes/engages, health, power/damage output, power spikes, and in-meta champions.

Now, I can understand if a player doesn't have a dash, then sure, a player with high mobility, stun, or cc should benefit from that. However, when a skill can not interrupted by dashing/escaping and has both high damage out and high range, that is a red flag that should be monitored.

I also feel this way about Tristana's jump/leap. Even if Tristana jumps out of the trajectory of some skill shots, the abilities may still damage her because the system is still using the hitbox from it's previous location (place Tristana jumped from).

The issue with late game champs is the inability to survive until late game. That is the disadvantage. It challenges the opposing team to finish the game early or wait until their tanks (if they have any) are stronger during mid to late games.

with you can't expect a perfect balance I mean player skill not champion balance. with champion balance perfection is something to strife for. player skill can never be fully balanced. I mean there will always be some unbalance in games(even in games with equal grounds like chess), but I agree that you should try to keep the champions as well balanced as possible.

as for your comment about the dashes tho i think a high damage dash can be balanced I agree with you that that is highly frustrating.

and the late game champion. That was exactly what I meant, sorry if i came off vague.

Stop playing 10 hours a day, switch to something else during your losing streaks.

How does a player improve by playing less?

LostFr0st1 votes

It flushes the chemicals that accumulate in your brain that cause tilt. If you're tilted before you start the game from the last one you're more likely to lose the one you're currently on.

eastcoastblaze2 votes

Alternatively you can troll a normal game. If you disguise it and only do it once every two weeks you can more often than not escapr punishment. So you bait someone into flaming and you can get them banned. That instant satisfaction knowing you made the game a better place because they got punished and wont have hextech is enough to end tilt

Apparently this was a poor attempt at sarcasm/joke as ive seen people do this in game -.-

LostFr0st2 votes

Why would you do that. That sounds terrible. [zombie-brand-mindblown] [zombie-brand-facepalm]

eastcoastblaze1 votes

I havent done it, because nothing puts me more on tilt than losing winnable games, i've seen people do this in game, and in the post game lobby tell the flamer/ rager "i played like shit on purpose to get you to flame so i could report"

LostFr0st1 votes

Oh good^^" I thought you were condoning it since I couldn't find any /sarcasm in your other post. Yeah, I've seen a few like that too.

Maybe i shouldve added a /s lmfao
