well you can but you can be reported and punished for afk
if they are toxic you can report them
and as support why didnt you start 
so share gold in lane ?
Your best bet is to mute them and then report them after the game. Don't afk because that will just get you punished. Just play the game normally, having muted the players. Whatever they want to say can't hurt you if you have them muted.

You can go afk for whatever reason you want. As long as you aren't going afk every single day and play out the leaverbuster games it's very unlikely the system will catch on and trigger manual review.

No. You can easily mute them and report them later. The other two people on your team shouldn't have to suffer.
If you want to go afk and screw over your teammates just cause someone was being an ass to you then go right ahead. However, actions like that will get you banned and possibly permabanned if it continues. There is really no way around it. Mute and report is the best option.
