So I play very casually, one game every 2-3 days, and generally I just play Support as its the only thing available.

However today, I think is my final day. I don't know how to cope anymore with the people telling me to

"Slit open my neck and drown in my own blood" or "Get off the game and kill yourself."

better yet, the ones who call me a feminist retard who should get back to the kitchen.

I've reported every player and every game I do with randoms, as I dont have many IRL friends who play leaves me in tears. I don't know what to do anymore.. It feels like no matter how often I report these people they make new accounts and just continue playing.

Everyone you play with just happens to know you're both female and a feminist? And not only do they magically know these details, but they use them to troll you unprovoked?

No, these things happened.

I asked to play support when we were in lobby and they asked if I was a girl, and I said I was. it was when I started to miss they started to attack me.

This was the same group that started to fight each other over who was ADC and no one wanted to swap because it would of been easier, they continued to fight.

edit: either way, this post is to highlight the unfortunate norm of the 'normal match' community which is vile and violent.

and you wonder that they insult you as a girl? if you'd say you were black or german or a %%%%%% they would use this to insult you. seriously why you take this so serious? those are random MAD ppl who dont know you. not saying what they did is ok but just ignore it?

So.. because I have different chromosomes I'm officially allowed to be insulted? is that how the community thinks? I make up the other 50% of the human race so therefore i'm irrelevant and dont have feelings?

I try to ignore it. but when it is EVERY game, and it brings me to tears because All I want to do is enjoy myself there is obviously an issue.

If you try to ignore something and still gets to you, you aren't ignoring jack shit. Doesn't matter if your a girl, black, white, albino, an animal, single, married, etc. Equal insults for all, equal ignorance for all.

my last sentence "not saying what they did is ok AT ALL but just ignore it?" no you are not allowed to be insulted. and yes you have feelings. but if you cant stand ppl randomly insulting you in a game (where you could mute them) the internet maybe isnt the right place for you. if this already makes you cry.

just saying one time i posted under a cat video "wow the cat at x:xx looked weird" 3 ppl answered me that im an animal abuser and that i should kill myself and that they come to my place and eat my pets if i have any. i gave it a weird smile and moved on.

its the internet. you find all kinds of strange ppl here. and a lot of aholes aswell. if you cant take it, you shouldnt post anywhere. just saying.

its not because you are a girl. if you say ANYTHING about yourself on the internet its going to get mocked. if i told my team i had red hair and then started to play poorly i promise they would be saying terrible things about gingers. if i told them i was jewish you would think half of them were nazis by the end.

this is how life is on the internet. you are less than an insect to someone on the other side of a cpu. at least an insect could bite them. learn to live with it.

I have two friends, both of whom main support; and another who plays support whenever we duo. I personally also very frequently like to support. I've never seen any of my friends being asked whether we're girls; and the same also never happened to me. And I've been playing since the game was released (even though with larger breaks inbetween), as opposed to your lvl 17 account.

I originally thought Doc Robot's response was a bit too cynical... but your reply makes this story really seem sketchy. My guess is that either you are vastly exaggerating the frequency of stuff like this happening (as despicable as that behaviour may be), or you're simply trolling.

or, if you can't force yourself to do that for no good reason, just uninstall. honestly, there are plenty of pve games that won't hurt your feelings.

I know how you feel, it's almost every game I play people just say the most horrific things, for instance sometone told me to go suck a d*ck and get HIV (that was one of the weakest) But what you have to remember is that this means you are are very good player and these people are probably kids between the age of 10 and 13. You just have to be patient and one day these brats will learn respect.

im going to be honest. i used to be BEYOND TOXIC to ppl lol. That was like 2 seasons ago. The second I started muting everyone my rank went from bronze to gold. Its nuts how ppl can get in your head. so piece of advice. before the game even starts mute EVERYONE. learn to communicate with pings and just do u girl. Also these are ppl on the internet, learn to realize they are so Insignificant to u. Just do u girl and you'll have waaaay more fun :) hope this helped! take it easy!

Or just not play ranked...what do ranked games do...unless your a top ranked team that goes to world's tournament, what does ranked REALLY do...nothing...exactly that...that's why I just play normals.

I've noticed the toxicity and just awful people are nowhere near as bad as ranked games, I play to have fun, not have some 14 yr old tell me to cut my throat. I'm a 30 yr old man and the childeren that trash talk on online games just makes me laugh. Am I a GREAT league player? No I'm decent and I'm happy with that I don't need to be a pro.

Just play the game and have fun, and just ignore the childeren.

Wasn't ranked. Was just a normal game.

I only play normals. Ive never played a ranked game before and all I get are people insult and belittle me. This isnt just a 'once every now and then' issue, this seems to happen every 2nd game I play. even if I block the person they are in my next game.
