afk in late game and intent feeders should not affect your rank

After my placements i was placed in bronze 2. I had three really good games after that and i was 10 LP away from promos. BUT after i played three ranked games in a row at least one person went afk in late game. This really pissed me off because it affected my rank and made me drop to bronze 3. After i got in bronze 3, I had 0 LP left and just now i had to drop into bronze 4 just because some stupid guy wanted to go jg ryze to troll around. The team asked for a surrender and i was the only one who said no because i would drop if not. So please riot don't make afks in late game and intent feeding affect your rank.
