Why don't you scan the logs for offensive language before warning people about false reports?
Just wondering.
Just wondering.
i assume you mean when someone is reported for language or whatever else and riot sends you a message? if not then idk, but for this, it's just letting you know that you were reported. instant feedback. it's not saying the report was verified, just that it was put out there. kinda like how you're told the charges you are facing in court. you aren't guilty until it's proven, but you have the right to know
you'd have to tell me what the exact words were, as i've never seen it. i know people who have however, and they always wondered why they got it, but they didn't seem to think it was accusing them. as far as I know, it just lets you know that you've been reported.
They actually warn people for making false reports?
I've never heard of that before.
I can see what you mean, but I think the system is more based on report weight rather than the content of the report because there are times where the automated systems might not pick up something that may seem offensive or negative. Of course, if a player gives out enough false reports, the players that the false reporter reports will stop receiving the report notification.
Get use to it if you're going ranked cause if you lose a lot and get paired with ragers they will report you for the purpose of both revenge and to see you perma banned.
