Got perma-banned for no reason?? * /r/League_Of_Legends_

Okey, so Riot Games sent me an e-mail saying that their systems detected 3rd party programs so i got perma-banned..

Thing that doesn't mean to be fair because i haven't used ANY 3rd party program ever.

I play league of legends on MAC OS and after doing some research i realized there are no 3rd party programs that can be used with League Of Legends while playing on MAC OS

I've been playing League of legends since season 3.. I got challenger in season 5 by playing MID with champs like fizz, ahri, xerath etc People on season 5 called me scripter but i never got a ban because even if i got reported the systems couldn't detect any 3rd party program because i don't even play in windows..

Then i got challenger again on season 6 playing only ahri.. Riot implemented their "new report system" in where people could report people for cheating just because they want

Then after getting called out a lot of times i got tired. I installed windows on my mac and immediately installed plays.tv so i could proof i don't use any "scripting" program by recording my plays and stuff..

Then after some days of playing on windows riot sent me an email saying i'm banned? like wtf I have proofs on my plays.tv in where everybody can see how am i playing with my friends, ranking to get more points in challenger

also.. if their systems detected any "scripting program" as they said after i talked to them why aren't my smurfs banned? smurfs in where i play the same champions as my main account. Oh, i know why they are not banned.. the reason is because in elo like diamond5, platinum and gold people don't report for cheating just because they are mad..

I have even played on ESL tournaments.. You think an scripter would play stuff like that? in where you could get to finals then play in a place where everybody can see you? That doesn't make any sense Riot.

I'm actually playing the Mexican E-sports League And also i'm playing the Riot Open Blue Come on, there are no "scripters" that would play that stuff..

It's not fair that because of dumb people just reporting because they want, a normal player like me getting banned for no reason.'

Hey!

I** installed windows** on my mac and immediately installed plays.tv.

Two questions on that - is it a legit Windows copy? Plays.tv appears to be a 3rd party app, yeah?

So, as a heads up, I'm not Player Support (I'm on Skins), but it may be helpful to check out our stance on 3rd party applications.

That said, while the apps you installed may not directly be related to scripting, if it somehow touches the in-game experience, it could be ban-worthy. 3rd party apps do change sometimes, and something that didn't interfere previously, may be affecting the in-game experience now. That's why we put the disclaimer that you use the apps at your own risk.

False reports don't count against you, so if you're not being a jerk in game, that won't affect you.

Have you reached out to support in regards to the ban?

I wanted you to be guilty. So I poked around and absolutely nothing I could dig up suggested in anyway you were scripting or have you ever used scripting. Your win percentage and rankings appear to be consistent with other challenger league players in your server. The recorded clips you have don't show any form of scripting to my eye. I'm not really sure what Riot's system picked up, but this does not appear to be reviewed by any form of real life person.

Probably not a good idea to also insult the people who make the choice though.

Here is the reply I received for my support ticket. I'm guessing yours would be similar. Basically, they are accusing me of using hacks/scripts when in actuality I have never use any of that. If I did, my win rate would not be stuck fluctuating at around 50-55% and in Diamond 5. I am willing to show game logs/anything to prove my innocence if RIOT is willing to give me a chance and not just give me an automated reply like this:

looks like you shared accounts. both with fatalis and eagle saint, maybe that person who you shared with was using a 3rd party piece of software.

I was also banned for 3rd party apps but all I used was overwolf and hadnt even been using it recently. Today I was gonna try out the replay HUD and was banned in the next lobby...

You know a guy isn't guilty when his ban appeal on boards is upvoted. People actually do take time to look into the people making the threads, and its clear that you passed the test for the boards examination.
