Another Leaver Buster Rant

So I'm no serious gamer and usually spend most of my games just enjoying my time in normals. No problem with that right? Im not terrible and seem to usually pull my weight pretty well. However, some patching errors made my entire computer crash every time a game would start (complete blackness with a screen freeze). The only way to get back into the game was to force restart my computer and wait for boot up as well as my client launch. Fast forward to actually getting back into the game that caused me to crash and it happens again before even letting me in!

I try this a few times and sometimes I can manage to get in. I tried re-patching and it worked for a bit but it only got worse and worse until I couldn't get into the game at all. Finally, I decided to completely reinstall and start a game and BAM a 20 minute wait to even get into the queue for 5 games! Seriously?

Firstly, this is norms only, secondly I did everything in my power to return to the games that would sometimes or sometimes not let me in. This is a wait that is far too long for someone that didn't leave the game intentionally. I just want to play and have fun but Im being punished automatically for crap out of my control.

  1. You knew you had a computer issue and chose to play anyway

  2. The issue you knew you had occurred making you unable to play the game you queued up for, despite your best efforts to get back in (even though you knew there was a reasonable chance you would not be able to)

  3. You wasted the time of 9 other players, by the sounds of it, multiple times.

What is the general result to patterns like this? A leaver buster queue penalty! Whoa who would have guessed.

You are in no position to rant here. You earned the queue penalty. Fix your shit or don't queue up. There is a support forum if you can't resolve it yourself, I'm sure they'd be more than happy to help you.

There is no way to code a leaver buster to detect if someone unplugging their router/PC rather than losing connection. I will quote Scruberz for this next bit: You knew you had a computer issue and chose to play anyway. Your rant was over before it began
