This game will stay toxic forever.

The main and the biggest issue is that this game is free to play. It seems very cool at first as you can play and try it out for free. BUT free to play also means that there will be a lot of smurfs and trolls in your games as you can create 100 accounts and troll around infinitely. Honestly I would rather pay even 40 euros to be able to play the game so that these punishments (14 day bans and perma bans) would actually mean something and being perma banned would mean that you have to re-buy account not just create another one in a minute. I feel like every game I get at least 1 toxic guy, 1 smurf and every second game a troll. I really love this game, but the community is destroying it. Creating new accounts, trolling around and provoking legitimate players who are trying their best just because why not. They don't risk anything.. Perma ban? Big deal, just create a new account and keep trolling around. I honestly don't have an alternate account as I only started playing lol this year. But some of my friends who play lol for years obviously have smurf accounts where they are dicking around, trolling bronze/silver players and generally are just doing whatever they want, as they can always create a new account if suddenly they receive a ban.

There is no way this game won't be free to play, so besides that, I think the problem lies in the behavior system. This game is competitive and in the heat of the moment you can say something bad if the game is really tense and someone decides to start trolling around etc. And as a lot of players who are trolling use their alternate accounts, they don't care if they will get banned, they keep provoking other players and these players are getting punished as well if they decide to retaliate to these really annoying trolls. I can't say that it is really healthy to get trolled by someone knowing that you can't lash out or you risk getting punished for letting your anger out. You are pretty much forced to keep it in yourself or get banned most likely. I think that we all have been tilted af that we just have to express yourself in chat.

The system doesn't care what happened in the game and exactly why player reacted like that. It is pretty much, ah you said someone is a moron and a stupid troll? That's unacceptable. Banned. And if the game would be actually reviewed, they would understand why this player expressed himself and lashed out his anger. So not picking meta champs and summoners is not considered trolling, I respect that. But excuse me, picking Tahm Kench adc with cleanse/smite is not obvious trolling? After reading Riot rules, it isn't, so trolls keep trolling. I have seen multiple people trolling with Tahm Kench cleanse/smite playing ADC or support. I don't know why exactly tahm kench, but I have noticed different trolls doing it on the same champ.

TLDR. The toxicity and trolling in league of legends is never ending because of it being free to play. Just create an alternate account where you can do whatever you want troll/swear/play tahm kench adc with smite/cleanse etc and don't risk losing anything.

Behavior system should be overlooked. Imho, Riot should actually investigate the situation before punishing players because there are so much trolls and smurfs on alternate accounts, it is disgusting. Letting out your anger on an obvious troll doesn't mean that you are toxic and should be punished just for expressing yourself.

Every word you say may get you in trouble. Saying that someone is bad or just stupid af for trolling might be enough to get you punished. Getting trolled, stealing your cs and being insulted, you have to stand it and keep your anger in yourself just because the system is what it is.

These are just my thoughts as I expect a lot of people to dislike this. I think that this is a serious issue. Constructive criticism is appreciated and I will try to respond to it.

You suggest that if League were pay to play, toxicity would decrease, but look at games such as Overwatch where they're actually worried about being just as toxic as League if not more so.

Toxicity is not preventable - if people want to flame they will. However, it is punishable - you can punish someone's account into oblivion if they decide flaming is more important to them than their account.

I've never understood why people ask for context sith their chat logs. Does it matter why you say what you said? Nope. Your logs show whether or not what you say is toxic. You shouldn't be judged based on others ' actions.

Yea league is toxic. If it were as bad as you say, then I'd play a different game. And if it were online, I'm sure you'd run across similar problems.
