I feel I shouldn't be banned.

I logged on to be notified of my "14-Day suspension" for "unsportsmanlike behaviour." This is totally wrong. I'll take ownership of my actions, by stating what I did wrong first. I may have muttered "kys %%%" to a player who deserved it. He was being very disrespectful of me and my teammates all game, and he kept calling me a "gay boi" repeatedly. I understand that "kys %%%" is not really an acceptable term, but the guy had it coming. I doubt very seriously if he even got punished, seeing as to I never actually reported him. I feel this ban is very unfair, and I'd like it to be considered of removal. I play this game avidly and do not think I deserve a 14 day ban. A mute at most will shut me right up.

I may have muttered "kys %%%"

And that's all it takes. There is no excuse for this behavior that Riot has zero tolerance for. What you should've done was mute and report.

But you did neither and now a toxic player may keep playing and harassing other players while you get banned despite your implied hours of play which in no way protect you from punishment.

Your overall statement is correct - The system IS flawed.

14 days is not nearly long enough punishment for that kind of behaviour.

considering riot has said so many times that hate speech is 0 tolerance, and you know this... how is it unfair exactly?

Muting yourself will shut you up. Try it.

No. He didn't, no one deserves to be told to kill themselves over a VIDEO GAME. You were in the wrong here. You deserve this ban, own up to your toxicity and try to learn from this.

I may have muttered "kys %%%" to a player who deserved it.

please explain why you decided that those words are an adequate response. not what he did to deserve it, mind you, but why those words in particular?

and he kept calling me a "gay boi" repeatedly.

your self confidence must be at rock bottom if trash talk on the internet upsets you enough to retaliate in kind

I understand that "kys %%%" is not really an acceptable term, but the guy had it coming.

just like you had the 14 day ban coming for breaking the rules. problem?

Mute them. Just because you for some reason felt they deserved it doesn't mean it's okay. "I may have muttered "kys %%%" <--- This. This right here is why you got banned It's as simple as muting him or just ignoring the chat box. If you felt that this was unfair then you clearly are on something. See ya in 14 days bud [slayer-jinx-catface]

It has been made clear what is appropriate, what is inappropriate, and what is especially inappropriate.

You have signed a terms of use, a contract, in order to play this game. What matters is whether or not you follow your agreement and not violate it.
Sections of a contract are not invalidated because you have feelings. That is not how the real world works.
