Low Priority Queue Changes.

So recently a friend of mine got put to low priority queue due to some unfortunate AFK situations, one of them being his computer automatically shutting down for updates. When I waited with him for the 20 minutes to be up, we started matchmaking. When in champ select, someone dodged, and we got placed back into matchmaking. I, not being in low priority queue myself, declined the match, thinking we would be able to start searching immediately. This of course proved to be false, and we were going to be forced to wait another 20 minutes for the queue timer. As you can see, this is incredibly frustrating, seeing as we already waited the 20 minutes.

This system seems to need some changes, major or small, I cannot say. Seeing as I was the one who declined the next match, it seems ridiculous to start the timer again for me and my friend, especially seeing as with the new dynamic queue it can take awhile to even start a game anyhow. I declined the match, not my friend. It's just confusing to me as to why we were forced to wait the 20 minutes again, and later separated queues so I could play a game. I don't see any reason as to why this punishment works this way. I can understand if we changed queue types it restarting the time, but not in the same queue we already waited for. I hope that someone can change something about this system, or just a have a Rioter input their 2 cents to this situation.

I don't know why people are downvoting this. It's a fair question. You waited 20 mins, you shouldn't have to wait again unless you leave the lobby, or when you start a new game, which will be a new lobby, which will reset the timer.
