I just want to know if i deserve this ban.

I spoke with personell at riot about my ban they wouldnt give me any other reasons or chat logs besides this one so here you go. Read as you please and tell me if i deserve permanent ban. Obviously some things typed are based on the game that you would have to watch to judge and somethings are misread since you cant see other chat logs or what happened but here.

Honestly, you'd have benefited from muting whoever it was you were arguing with and just reporting them after the game. The way it is, you both contributed to a less than ideal experience for the rest of your team.

That said, while most of the time I think Riot's system is spot on, in your case I don't think your logs merit a punishment. I see a bit of sarcasm, a couple of shows of frustration, but overall it's neutral at worst.

If I were you I'd reach out to support. No guarantees you'll get it lifted, but it's worth a shot.

It looks to me like you were punished because you repeatedly blamed your team for the situation in the game, as well as threatening to afk multiple times.

When was your most recent chat restriction?

In most sane people's opinions- NO. In Riot's 'Skynet banomatic" system- sure why not?

I feel you man, and I can promise you this type of passive aggressive, PG "flaming and negativity" will get your account permanently banned. The problem I've noticed, is that most of the community don't realize how sensitive the banhammer is. They think you won't get banned unless you do something extremely egregious. They're quick to spout defenses like "well you should have just muted then", but then they could have done the same thing. If everyone can just mute chat when they hear something that bugs them, why bother banning on account of negative chat at all?

This would've been a 25 game chat restriction since you previously had one, however I can only guess that your chat restriction WAS a 25 game if you got banned.

Riot has a tier system.

  • 10 game chat restriction
  • 25 game chat restriction
  • 14 day ban
  • perma ban

Depending on which tier you're at you'll get the next tier punishment when punished. However hate speech and certain other things can get you to skip tiers.
