Why did Riot not let me know about people getting punished? Are they actually doing anything for me?

In the past I've reported people and even sent in tickets about games with feeders with actual video evidence as well, right. But the problem here is that I don't feel like Riot are actually doing anything most times with me anyway, I feel like the player is just getting away with their behaviour. I've seen people get notifications before when their report works, but everytime I report someone, I never get any notification, NOTHING. I mean, it's been months on some of my previous reports, so it can't be the time window. Like It just really disapoints me that people get away with feeding and don't get punished. (Properly because their report system is based on quantity, not quality.)

The notification only happens if they get autobanned right after your report. Rest assured, people get banned for being jerks. Not for being bad players, though.

I think you have a misunderstanding of the system that tells you the people who got punished when you report them. That is not meant to give you feedback on every report. It is just a periodic reminder that it does work. On top of that they only can popup in very specific scenarios where you are the final report that led to their punishment when punishments are generally based on more than 1 game. It sounds like a lot of the reports you are talking about are for trolling such as intentional feeding which often require manual reviews. Since the feedback messages are part of the instant feedback system you will never get an alert about a punishment that was the result of said manual review.

Look around this section of the boards, people are punished for bad behavior all the time. You just won't know the overwhelming majority of the time.

Just because you don't receive the notification doesn't mean it isn't happening. Just read some of the cry babies here getting banned.

When u say "feeders" do u mean someone running to turret and just letting it kill him, or someone going 0:10 in lane against better player? Feeding is not against rules.
