What did I do wrong and how can I improve

Today I was lvling a new account because I got chat temp banned and I got chat restricted on. These are the chat logs. If you are wondering I never peaked at plat that was just some flexing. I know most this game I was being toxic but what comment actually prmoted riot to chat restrict me most of these comments were pretty tame imo. The support brand intentionally stole my first crab and my 2nd blue buff. He never addresses the issue throughout the game. I don't think my comment were that bad this game. Also the ezreal was much more toxic than I was he said kys %%% which I thought was unacceptable to riot.

Read through your chat and count how many lines of it are useful to help the team play better. Try to eliminate the rest.

I feel like an environment where all you can say is good stuff is good but both ez and brand were flaming me very vehemently. Like I said in the op what comments were extra bad? I understand that me not being constructive is bad even streamers say worse stuff. It is unreasonable to just say to only say nice things. I am very sorry for my use of 2nd grader words.

That sucks dude, but just mute them as soon as they start. Getting sucked in just brings you down to their level.

You don't have to only be nice, but only be constructive ie. "Ez pls try to play more safe" or "We need more vision to avoid ganks" is constructive, whereas "ez stop fukin feeding" would be negative (not quoting you here, just making up examples). If the team won't listen to constructive advice then just mute and worry about your own game.

even streamers say worse stuff

Unfortunately streamers aren't very good rolemodels generally - they do what it takes to get views which is usually being over the top and expressive, rather than being a good teammate. Also don't equate what they say outloud to what you can say in game.

I can't pinpoint one or two statements that are particularly bad - easier to just work on being constructive and not getting baited into arguments.

The part where I told ez that he was greifing he ran it down top. I dunno I feel like I cant be constructive to someone who does that. I am sorry I am defending my ass so much I was hoping other people would see my point of view but I guess I was a little toxic. Thanks for the feedback and I will just mute all whenever I get into games from now on.

You were being extremely insulting, using offensive slurs, and flat out inflammatory. If a player is being toxic and offensive, please mute them and report them after. Never ask for a report because it's considered as a harassment. The best way you can improve is just mute the player. Anything that'd set you off, just mute it and don't type.

Please show me one slur I used. From what I have seen riot doesn't ban people just for being inflammatory. Otherwise ppl life iwd would be getting chat restricted a lot. I even admit my mistakes and say that it is better for us to move on I even chastise ezreal for calling a surrender vote so much.

Why tf is that bannable that seems so dumb I imagine it would check the pronouns. How would anyone say why to report someone for using a slur.

Never repeat something in chat. Doesn't matter if they say it or who says it first. Toxic is toxic, slurs are slurs, and breaking the rules is breaking the rules. You are responsible for what you say. The IFS doesn't dispute who started what. This case is about you and what you said.

It isn't really dumb. It's respectful and considerate for all race, belief, cultures, and standards. What you may not find offensive may someone else. So if I was you, I wouldn't use that you're not familiar with.

Afterall you agreed to these Terms of Use that you'd never use any sort of an offensive slur, harass or flame under any circumstances. It doesn't matter if someone asks you, demands you, threatens you, or requests you to repeat any offensive slurs, you are never to repeat it. We all agreed to these terms and we all are to abide by them. Riot shouldn't do anything of that sort. Because Riot isn't liable to you in any way.

You asked how you could improve. I provided the advice.

I am sorry this is not a personal attack but that is a piss poor excuse I was not harming anybody simply stating the word. I did not call someone the word in question I was not committing harm. I was stating a word I do not remember the summoners code though so don't hold that against me.

No offense taken. Not everyone can understand people's standards, belief, and cultures. Especially when it comes to people's personal feelings. This may seem like a lame excuse, but I assure you, it's a legitimate fact based on the IFS system you were punished by. I don't make the rules, I just abide by them as we all do. The IFS doesn't care how you meant it or if you had no ill intent behind it, the system itself is also abiding by the Terms of Use we all agreed to.

Also, I am not holding anything against you, but stating what you did wrong and where you went wrong. I always find it best to research the rules to a game, especially review the Terms of Use if I want to remain in the game I enjoy or want to keep playing. The Summoner's Code is more of a guide rather than rules, it's the Terms of Use you need to be aware of.

I literally wrote a 30 word program that could identify the pronouns in a sentence if a dead beat college kid could make a computer that sees the difference a big company like riot can make a much more comprehensive program that could do that and more. The ifs should have known that also in the terms of service I didn't see anything about informing ppl about the slurs other said .

The Terms of Use don't want you or ANYONE to use any offensive slurs in general in any manner. Because it's being considerate of everyone as any business would. It's a policy. Just because this is a video game and an entertainment doesn't mean it doesn't have a policy and rules. All standards are considered and respected. That is why the Terms of Use was made and you agreed to those terms before you downloaded the game. They gave you that choice. It's an agreement form.

PS: You shouldn't inform anyone anything due to it being most of the time related to asking for a report. Asking for a report is considered as a harassment and also against the policy we all agreed to.

Insulting other players for their gameplay, score-shaming them, calling them a monkey, and calling them a child will get you punished reliably and consistently. I know it's frustrating to be insulted or flamed, but doing the same bad just adds your account to the pile of accounts that are getting hit by the punishment system as a result. Just mute, report, and move on.

this basically. look at this, and think about how much this actually assisted your team in winning. tilting them more wont make them suddenly play like faker, so you just want to refrain from chat like this. most of this is just harassing 1-2 people, which is what you generally want to avoid.

You constantly harassed them. Even if it was in response Riot won't care. You probably would have gotten away with it if you didn't say so many words that trigger the automated system. One being the word "report" multiple times
