A Gripe About /remake
This is probably going to come off as me just complaining, (and for good reason, I kinda am) but as someone who has dealt with the remake system multiple times now, I've come to realize just how ruthless it is. Now don't get me wrong: I love the idea of having a remake system. I thought that it would finally give League what it needed to help with problems of advantages over 4v5s and the like, and for the most part, it has helped. But I'm sitting here now with 5 games where I have to sit in queue for an extra 20 minutes, because my computer has a disposition towards crashing at the start of games sometimes and I don't have the luxury of being able to do what I need to each day without it to ship it off for repairs.
This isn't because I was mad at a teammate, or didn't like our composition. Believe me, I try my hardest to get back in to a game as fast as possible when I crash or get disconnected. But that 3 minute timer? I just don't have a fast enough computer to make that, and I have to wonder how much this Leaver Buster motivates me to change my ways for the better, when the cause is something I currently cannot control. I understand that there are 9 other people that my crash effects, and that you can't really raise the timer any higher. But I feel like there's a lot more unfortunate people in my kind of situation rather than there are leaving purposefully, and I've gotta wonder how much of a help that actually is.
