Third Party Software vs League

Hey summoners. So I was checking my email, and realized I was banned from League of Legends.(Dat smurf be scripting.) Now, I saw it said "Malicious Third Party programs." And, I've been around for a while (Season 1 repping) So I should know what a third party program is. One would quickly think hacking, scripting, drop hack, ect ect.

A while back users was getting falsely banned for well you know Curse's overlay timers. Since we have new overlays now, both timers and my personal use Lolwiz. Are these causing Riots automated system to be tripped? Then again my previous account was basically insta banned cause I left Cheat Engine open.

And for fun. Dear, Riot. Do you give people chances to prove their innocence? The reason I ask this is because I'm one of those "1 in a million" reasons. As a avid streamer, I tend to record and upload each and every match. Mainly to review and compare. Shouldn't you have each match log, I believe in some cases like this a player should be able to prove themselves. But hey, just a thought.

PS. Why do games ban people after they purchase something via RP Time for that transaction claim.summoner 21

Those were legitimate bans. CV initially had illegal features, but were removed to comply with Riot's 3rd party application rules and is now acceptable. They were sent emails and warned that it was off limits before any bans were given. For instances such as CV where many people use it but aren't aware it's illegal, they give a warning and a temporary ban to give them the opportunity to quit using it. They do not do this for obvious cases of abuse.

The 3rd party ban wave was sent out for specifically people that were sharing accounts and/or scripting.
