When you are playing normals, and someone is playing something different, DON'T LOSE YOUR SH*T ABOUT IT.

I just played a game as ADC Urgot and already before the game even starts, my top laner starts pestering me about it. Then, every time we have a team fight and we lose it or I make a mistake, he goes to /allchat just to say that "gg botlane too heavy" even when our lane isn't to blame. Am I the best Urgot around? Of course not, but don't start pinning a loss solely on someone that is "playing something off meta". [slayer-jinx-unamused] I don't know anymore, I'm not sure if I'm more pissed off from the toxicity in these preseason games, or from my connection being really crappy.

Anyways, just give people a chance instead of just assuming they are gonna bomb the game.

This really shouldnt be about normals though, at least in my opinion. I mean i rather have someone especially in rank play with something they are comfortable with. People nowadays love going off meta because it "trips" your opponent. But i do agree, too many people lose their shit over such a trivial things. This game has over 130 champions people are going to want something different, play something different from time to time!

i have no problem with this in norms. its normals play whatever you want! i do have an issue when it comes to someone playing apc fiddlesticks in the bot lane during ranked.

How about you don't be useless and people will be nicer. Don't be the guy that sits and craps his pants and talks about the low standard Riot has created, hold yourself to a higher standard.

No one ever flames me and I'm a dick 100% of the time ingame, cause I carry my weight.

If you lag play something that can survive a few seconds of lag instead of feeding, or better yet, quit playing league until you fix your lag.

I played on the NA server from Nigeria last summer with no lag, lag is always your fault.

You just missed the entire point of this post...

I could care less if they flame me or not, I've had friends do worse. My point is he started blaming the loss of the game on an "off-meta" pick rather than on a Tryndamere that tried to backdoor without any use of his e to dodge cc.

This has nothing to do with connection either because I only said that it made me irritated playing with it, so yeah...

Whining at someone about their pick made you mad so you're on here crying about it, so obviously you do care and quite a bit. Someone who didn't care would have forgotten about it in 30 seconds and went on with their day.

Summoners Code article #1 says always pick what your team needs at champ select. The only use for Urgot is hard countering Vayne and going all in at level 2 really, so 95% of the time you aren't helping your team with ADC Urgot.

People who don't follow article #1 are the ones who always get flamed and complain about summoners code #3.

Learn top Urgot if you have to play it, and learn when to pick it don't just main it. Urgot is for picking off characters with super weak early games, not maining.

I disagree with you OP. I had a duo que who went Morgana Ivern bot lane (ADC IVERN) and trapped the rest of us in the game while repeatedly thinking they were funny joking about Ivern will pick up late game. They constantly refused the surrender and wasted nearly an hour of our time. Based on that and this, I think people who play non-meta should be permabanned and I am petitioning that you be perma'd right now.

I understand that having something like that is unreasonable, even for a normal game, but in this game we actually had a pretty good chance of winning. We lost primarily because we couldn't make the most out of a good team fight or pushing hard enough. The thing is, Urgot ADC can actually be made to work, and it has been in previous games and metas.

Now if I were to play Urgot and build complete AP or something to that extent, then I could see the problem in that. But in no way is playing Urgot ADC as much of a troll pick as Ivern ADC, who has no part in his kit (other than his ranged bush attacks) designed to play that role. At least in Urgot's kit, you have many essential parts of an ADC: decent DPS, good range if you get your E off on them, and easily shred tanks and carries. Now his ult can be questionable because it's used more or less to mess up the other player's positioning.

As long as your pick is rational and you know you can make it work, there shouldn't be much of a problem with it.
