There's a mute button for a reason. How about they start doing something to the trolls afkers and scripters.

Mute & report can be done at the same time. If I find you annoying, I'll just mute you to ease my time gaming, while reporting after game just so you would stop being an ass to the rest of your future teammates.

Cz you're showing bad sportsmanship conduct in a competitive game, and of course, the only reason you're doing it is just because you WANT to make your team/enemy feel bad for themselves. Most of the time, people use the word "scripters" just because they're too embarrassed & stubborn to admit their inexperience, mostly like yours right now...

scripters arent really a problem its been i while since ive seen someone i know is 100 percent scripting but trolls and akfers bother me a lot more than toxic people. and again. most of the time they get away with it. people who are super racist/toxic should get chat restricted as long as they arent griefing. and i dont mean people who are just having a really bad game but you can def tell the difference them and trolls

ill admit scripters aren't common at all cuz its pretty easy to tell but there's definitely a ton of trolls and afkers and i wish riot would punish them harder than people who say something mean and someone gets butthurt

I really am. I'm asking why is being toxic considered worse/more banworthy than inting, afking. If someones toxic you can mute them but if theyre trolling you it can really make the game hell. you cant really get out until at least 15 mintutes if youre lucky but probably longer. And players can be just chat restricted.And im pretty sure I know how the mute button works.

It's not considered worse. Riot punishes for all those things. Part of the problem, however, is that some people have a skewed perspective on "trolling", which makes it hard to refine the detection software that addresses them.

So you're saying that it's impossible or difficult to ban players for inting or trolling when they could just be having a really bad game. And there's no way to start banning more of these players. That sucks cuz I've had horrible time lately with trolls and afkers and it pisses me of that they mostly get away with it but toxic/annoying players can be ignored completely since you can finally mute pings as well but they still are treated as bigger issues. I think riot exaggerates the whole toxicity issue when theres two buttons that remove the issue completely. leagues community imo isn't really any more toxic than any other competivr game actually overwatches community is way worse but that's prob cuz the players ard mostly younger but like league you can mute them and trolling is pretty rare.

That's an opinion you have. It isn't a mainstream opinion.

Most people just want to play without dealing with anyone's garbage, regardless if they can mitigate it somewhat.

Because some people are unable to enjoy the game when presented with any negativity. Therefore, riot is trying to remove it from the game at the expense some of its player-base.
