My friend got banned because he wrote knit yourself u know what i mean and the n word and he told them to me as a joke and turns out someone actually reported him and he got banned so i'm asking if it's possible to get him unbanned because it was directed to me as a joke.Is there anything you can do?
if you are going to use offensive jokes such as k.y.s then do it on discord or skype the other people in the game dont need to hear it. and you cannot get unbanned
There was once a case where Riot unbanned because literally everyone on his team made a forum post saying that they retract their reports if I recall correctly, however you have to realize that when playing with random people that you don't know what those people are going through and they may not want to see communications like that.
Doesn't work that way. Tell your friend that words have consequences. Regardless if it's a joke.
Yeah even if it was a joke to a friend, you are not alone and maybe some of your teammates reported him too. In any case he should not have wrote that, joke or not he'll stay banned.

Like seriously, at what certain point of time do people make stupid excuses like this...
dont tink your friend is going to get out of this one.
It's like your friend stabbed u with a knife n u reported him to the police and you didn't believe he would get arrested.
Here is where things get sticky, because if you didn't report him he probably wouldn't be arrested. But if the police investigated and discovered you didn't report him you could be charged for abetting a crime.
In any case dont bother escalating it because unlikely anything will happen as he made 3 other people see the phrase. In other words, you did the objectively correct thing to report him and the punishment was warranted.
