14 day suspension

This is my first time using the boards, or any other riot owned application outside of lol. Recently with finals just around the corner I took a break from league too study up and pass. Finals came and went and I'm currently on summer break. However, about a half hour ago when I logged into league I was met with a 14 day suspension over a large amount of chat logs abuses.

In review, I've found that there are games on my account that I did not play. I understand that there's no way to tell who's on the computer at any given time and I can accept the 14 day suspension as someone needing to be punished.

I've certainly had my share of toxic comments in league, and I tilt easily though I try to keep myself in check. The comments that got me suspended however, are disgusting and spammed into chat.

My question is, if I think someone has gotten into my account what can I do about this? Is there a way to change my password or better secure my account? Is there anything I can do to avoid this happening again?

For reference, I have the chat logs but even with censoring the expletives I'm sure it's inappropriate to post.

Submit a support ticket. If your account was compromised, they'll be able to tell.

Click on your name top right corner, choose settings. There you can change your password....

Went for any "free RP" sites? 1234 password? In any case, contact support, accountsharing could mean perma so make sure they dont take as that.

Immediately change your password. After doing so, submit a ticket both logged in (asking to discuss the ban, mentioning you may have been compromised) and logged out (for a compromised account). If Riot can positively identify instances where games were played while the account was compromised, they may consider removing the suspension as a one time act of goodwill, under the understanding that it is a one time exception and if your account continues to be compromised it will not continue to be forgiven.

Best of luck.
