I don't think I deserved to skip a tier.

So in a recent flex queue game, I got a bit heated at my jungler for calling me a %%%got. So I said some stuff I shouldn't have said, but I really don't think this is deserving of a skip in a tier of punishment. I have had a 10 game chat restriction before, but that was about 6 months ago. Anyways around 30 seconds after the game I get a in client card saying my account was suspended for 14 days, skipping the 25 game chat restriction. Anyways here is the ONE chat log I recieved for it. Calling people certain terms is considered hate speech and will often skip straight to 14 day bans even if you have a clean slate. This isn't out of the ordinary. It is the result of letting politically correct culture go unchecked.

While it is totally inappropriate behavior, back in my day we would have just ignored it as words from someone acting like an idiot don't really matter.

You could try submitting a support ticket. I think you saying %%%got over and over is what triggered it. Though they might keep the ban regardless of context.

So, even if they ARE toxic, don't call people that. That's not something that's particularly acceptable, although it isn't super egregious either.

This could well be the problem. It doesn't matter what he's saying -- don't repeat it. Especially if it's a derogatory word. That's 100% not okay.

And yes, he's probably punished (or soon will be) for that word usage as well. That still doesn't justify your use of it. Remember -- if you weren't the report that TRIGGERED his punishment, you won't be informed about it.
