I just want to say. that yes. I AM posting this on a low level account because this is the account this happened to. So, Our ashe called abc, only to have mf steal it, which led to the mf asking in the game. Shortly after, our nidalee and ashe afk'd in the fountain, claiming that they were "opening" and couldn't be reported. So. I reported them for afk/dc ing and for greifing the game.

http://na.op.gg/summoner/userName=poro+children here is the match where this happened. So, I want to justify myself, claiming that "Opening Mid" is a reportable action. So, is opening mid a reportable action?

(I didn't know where to post this, so I figured this would be the best board)

Yes it is fully punishable, and should even be escalated past a simple chat restrict.

If the whole team is on board with it, opening is not punishable.

But if only 1 or 2 people are calling "open mid" then yes that's totally punishable. It's essentially them saying "we give up make our team lose"

saying open mid to the enemy team means you are telling them you are letting win the game, so its the same as afk or inting (real inting, not just really bad kda (3/10/1 in 20 min isnt close to real inting)) but player in noth america and europe arent really doing "open mid", they are just saying it. Open mid is something done in korea where many people play at an internet cafe where their playing time is limited and cost money so if the game is considered over they would like to end it as fast as possible to avoid losing money, while player in NA dont have reason like that.
