Autofill forcing players to que dodge. and getting punished for it?

Okay, so today something happened to me that seems to happen a lot. I get someone on my team who is auto filled support, but cant play the role. He asks for top however, no one will switch with him. So naturally, he picks his top lane as a support (Renekton)

KNOWING full well that he is planning on intentional feeding. I'd rather take the penalty on myself of Que dodging and waiting 5 to 15 minutes than waste my time playing a game like this. Personally, I would rather have 10 minute Que times than have auto fill on, and i think many of you might agree because you actually lose time having auto fill on in many cases, because you or someone in your Que dodges.

I'm looking for solutions to this problem, personally, I think if someone is auto filled and you Que dodge you should not be penalized. Do you think this is too much? It could possibly be abused I know, but I'm not sure how we could handle this.

A response from a Riot employee would be appreciated :D

Did you know if you play 1 game as support autofill is turned off for 10 sounds like a solution people fail to take Autofill is not bad team builder was a boosters paradise Autofill is a good compromise from random ranked pick order season 1-3 to team builder

So is it perfect no, but it is better than team builder

Lets play a mental thought game real quick here's a scenario A: we lost cause enemy team was better B: we lost because auto fill put our best player into support C: we did "everything" in our power to win(aside from looking up who was on my team prior to lock ins) D: we blame one person for every loss E: if only autofill didn't exist I'd win 90% more games

Hmm, im calling bs

It's your choice, deal with it.

I play every single game, even if someone is trolling it's worth to play 20 minuts to get him banned.

Whining about autofill is ridiculous. It's basically a tuned version of what was in place before new champ select. Just play the game out the guy may have picked renekton because he knows the champ and still meant to give support a go.

I don't see why people can't just pick the champion they main in every role except maybe adc.

You main TF? TF can top, tf can jungle, tf can mid, tf can support. You main Wu? Wu can top, wu can mid, wu can support, wu can jungle...

want to know how to deal with autofill? Learn the role that for whatever reason, most people don't want to play.

Don't use the system as a scapegoat because people want to be stubborn.

I dunno, I assume saying 'I am going to feed' is the new way to trick people into dodging.

Support is a lovely position in that everyone can do it with a little effort. Some have more difficulty due to resource management, but so long as you take a gold income item and a sightstone, you can do well if you don't just try to go full ham.

They need to give IP boosts for supports ffs
