I Lose Two Ranked Games for Every Win...

...because of this toxic community.

Seriously, I've played since Season 1. I'm not the best player, not the worst. In the past I've averaged around a 50% win rate, but this season I'm down to around 30%. Why? Because the community is more toxic than it's ever been. A rage quit used to be a rare happening; now it's basically a given as soon as someone hits 0/4. Every other game I'm fighting against either a 4v5, someone spending the entire game typing, or intentional feeding. Want to know why games are such stomps? Look at the amount of cancer.

Case in point : playing a ranked game last night. Our Zac tells us he's having internet issues and links a terrible ping. A few minutes later he disconnects. What does our Wukong top say? "Fuck this Zac, free kills". He then proceeds to come mid and sit under the enemy tower while Ryze kills him. By the time Zac reconnects three minutes later, Wukong has added two deaths and lost his tower due to inting.

This is a constant. I'm not sure if Riot is now overwhelmed with reports, but the amount of undeniable trolling in ranked is getting out of hand, and that's not even considering the amount of pure toxic chat that's present. If something isn't done about the level of toxicity, Riot will lose all their core players. I can deal with imbalance and poor game design, but literally having no chance because my teams are frequently filled with trolls makes this a pointless game.

P.S. I like how Riot deletes this from gameplay because they know it would get visibility and they have a massive problem with toxicity they choose to ignore. Took 3 minutes for them to delete my post from gameplay.

I feel you man. It is very much flaming etc in this game. But i dont agree with you about that you lose 2 of your 3 games every ranked match.

Yeah i also have losing streaks, but it is almost never more then 2, and then i get 3 or 4 wins in a row. I also get pissed the fuk off when feeders or ppl refusing to communicate playes with me in team.

But if you are constantly losing 2 out of 3 matches its maybe your game play m8.

TBF, the only constant variable and the only one you can control is you. If you're losing games(im gonna sound like a dick when i say this) there is a good chance you are somewhat responsible for it. if you're losing games playing 1 role, switch roles. Learn to play things that you see costing you the games(supports always are needed) If you're losing consistently on 1 champ, switch you're roster line up. If you're losing because the inner keyboard warrior is too strong for you or your team /muteall

I'm not saying you're the 100% reason you lost, but you can't control how 4 other people play on your team. Just my opinion

Very true. That being said, it's no secret that this is one of the hardest seasons to mount a comeback in. Where as in the past a single person could hope to overcome a toxic teammate, it's much harder currently to do so. I could see a drop from ~50% to ~40% win rate being 100% my fault, but when at least 1 in 10 of my games is a 4v5 within 10 minutes, I also have to think that community has something to do with it. I can't remember ever getting as many AFK/inting teammates in past seasons, not even close, and that's something I can't figure out how to stop or overcome this season.

to be fair, behavioral issues have nothing to do with gameplay.

Also, the board mods aren't Riot. they just follow rules set by Riot, and are a 3rd party company which specialises in forum moderation.
