What do you think of people surrendering to 10/40-scores?

I just won a game with 2 inhibs down, enemy team being 40/10 and a ruining everyone's lives. We came back with one fight. One fight was all it took. 3 people had already given up . They continuously /ff'd. I did what does and outscaled the living heck out of the enemy team, screwing up Shaco and so on.

I feel like they should learn a lesson, but of course, knowledge comes for even the dumbest when given time and experience.

Everybody knows this situation so I wanna see your opinions:3

its kidda their fault for not being able to close a stomping game.

I'll probably look for a banner of command x zz portal to end early.

This season is retarded tbh. A 40/10 should be a sure loss unless you have 6 Towers while the enemy has none (and no drags/barons). Now that's what it used to be. This season however is so retarded in terms of deathtimers and comebacks that surrendering is literally throwing a perfectly winnable game.

At least Riot acknowledged the Deathtimer problem.

I'm in favor of surrendering if the chances of winning are extremely low. What constitutes extremely low chances are raging teammates, no teamwork, or everyone being super behind with minimum late game potential. I know it's an unpopular opinion, but a bunch of people, including me, only have time for limited amounts of games, so if I feel like the game is hopeless and the best we can do is drag the game out and have the enemy team win anyway, it's more time efficient to surrender. I rather have a 20 minute loss than go 40 minutes and lose anyway. Of course the exception is if the team comp is better late game as in your situation :P If we have a better late game team, I'll stick around and hope we can make it there and build up.

What do I think of it?? I think it's appropriate.. because coming back is going to be a VERY rare thing.
