I was banned! (read if you were issued a 14 day ban!)

First off, I want to say that I'm sorry to summoners TKP B1lly, Sink With Me, Reizen and 07 Dugi, and anyone else hit with a 14 day ban. Feel free to add me in game after your ban lifts.

I've been playing League since 2009 and I main fill. A few days ago I was hit with a 14 day ban for one game as well. I felt absolutely unjustly punished just like you all do now. I looked at my chat logs and said "What the hell riot? It comes to this?" So, I sent riot a support ticket and waited for a response. I honestly expected to get a riot bot response. Instead, I got a message from riot Iron Wing. They personally looked into my chat logs and game history (I'm assuming from many more than just the single game it said I got banned for) and undid my ban! Thank you again Iron Wing so much!

I try my absolute hardest to follow Summoner Code rule 9. First and foremost the game is about having fun! I can only assume you didn't remember the little warnings that pop up when you get reported. Those were your serious warnings from riot, even if you were reported unjustly. I read your chat logs, I agreed with your points. I thought the system was broken, but it's working perfectly fine. You said something you shouldn't have at some point one too many times, or you repeated one of the insta-ban words. I will never tilt again because I never want to see that "I understand" button again.

tl;dr: Player support looked into me and I was unbanned.

Edit: All it takes is one report to get investigated.

Well a nice post you have here but i extremly doubt riot would reverse my ban since it was hate speech and plenty of guys in coments told me even after it was reviewed by someone i would still get banned even tho i wasnt aware it was such an insulting word at the time :D Dont really know what more to say i just saw how you mentioned me in a post and now i feel nice and someone noticed me so i decided to leave a comment to thank you for improving my mood a bit ^^ Best of luck to you :D

Normally I call out extreme toxicity, I show no remorse for it and you can see my history on it and other normal posters will say the same about me. While you did harass MF a slight bit, I feel like something is missing. I'll be forward with you, did you receive a 25-game chat restriction? Is this also your full chat-log? While it's not wise to ask for reports for MF, but I see that you recognize your mistake.

So I'll say this and this is from one beta player to another. Keep your head up high and don't let them get to you. Just mute them, man.

For future reference, 1 report is the same as 9. This should really be a loading screen tip as I can't count the times people asked to report someone. All that does is annoy everyone else.

I'm fairly certain when you leave the game and report someone, it flags an automated system to queue up a review of said game. When 5 other people report the same person in that game, all it does is cancel out as the game has already been flagged for review in regards to said person.

How in the hell did this get banned. You were just declaring you would report the person. So instead of just banning the person, you get banned. This is a hilarious system.

For as far as I know riot is actually pretty good with reversing bans if they are wrong. They use the botted response when they feel the punishment is justified.

So, I just noticed a few things. 1) I'm definitely in some new sort of elo, the gameplay, champs picked and the general type of people I play with are different since my unban. There's a lot more toxicity in my games than I've had before. I mostly soloq norms.

And more importantly.

  1. My honor is locked at level 0!? I already sent Iron Wing a message, and they said they fixed it but I'm still locked in at level 0. I was past my final checkpoint of 3, waiting for 4 and getting 70% more <3ggs than other players. I want my honor back ):<

this should only be a 14 day if you've gotten a chat restriction if you ask me...light harassment so not great but still not worth straight 14...

Try talking less. this is a pvp game not a chat room. talking that much is asking for people to report you because it can be very annoying to have someone who seems more worried about typing than winning.

I don't know, of course it was a mistake. Still, they don't ban people swearing all the game, insulting, calling others "ret-". Even one "ky-" recently hasn't been punished, in my experience.

So, I don't relly get how their report system "works".

Why in the name of god do you have pre and postgame logs? Why were they not included when I requested my FULL records from Riot? Why are you playing with fire by withholding information from people who have a legal right to them Riot?

im geunienly shocked that you got suspended for this chat log. we must be missing something cuz this is pretty much every single match you play.. but then you have games where someone is flamed and saying "kys" "uninstall the game" "ez win". in my opinion those are all wayyyy worse than anything youve said. ever notice how the ones that say ez after a game are usually like a zed mid that went 5/7/4. good job buddy
