I have wondered what exactly is toxicity. I am usually a pretty chill person in game but sometimes people can really grind my gears, but I don’t regard myself as being toxic. Some stuff I might say in game, are these toxic? Calm down Stop dying by yourself I’m not the reason you lost lane Muting you guys Stop crying please Why are you blaming me when you are 0/6??? This isn't a direct reply to your post but what would you say about the T1/Blaustoise games in which some "toxic" things were said and Riot-Blaustoise said that it was just banter? Also, is it "toxic" to dance on your lane oponent's corpse or ?-ping when an ally makes a mistake and dies? Where PRECISELY is the line?

Aneirin1 votesJust putting in my 2c, but I would say anything short of flat out abusive chat is/should be allowable against the opponent - dancing, spamming emotes, taunting to get into your opponent's head etc; however I'd say it's not okay to do it to your own teammate as it could tilt them and hurt your team environment.

Algido2 votesApparently so if simply stating an empirical fact ("I'm not the reason you lost lane") is, according to Periscope, toxic. I know he or she is just a moderator but If that is official and something one could potentially get punished for, one could make the argument that "stop focusing the tanks" is toxic because it could be implying that it is an insult to the person's intelligence and/or the players ability to make the correct decisions. This kind of bullshit is infuriating and is a reflection of society with all these SJWs in their teens/earlly-mid 20's and their bullshit.

Aneirin1 votesFirst half isn't too bad, second half is either unnecessary or could be worded in a way less likely to tilt your teammates.
Don't ever ask for reports - only yours is necessary, extra ones don't do anything.

No one can actually tell you what exactly is toxic because it's already a misused term in this context. Because of this, any one is able to and have expand the misuse to use it for anything. That's why it's better to just avoid it as a point.
The better thing to do is to instead look at what is being said and how. I can understand well how you may have reasons to use those. Those examples can have varying opinions about them from various people but the important is that they may be used in arguing with other players. Arguing with them is frequently both not going to be helpful and can make a disruption out of yourself. For that reason, you should try to keep arguing to a minimum.
