I think I got perma banned without a good reason can anyone help me with this ?

okay so this is what was sent to me, can someone please explain to me how is this perma ban worthy ? Permanent Account Suspension Your account has received a permanent suspension following an extensive audit of in-game behavior within recent League of Legends matches. Here are some chat logs that were identified as negative by other players in the community.

Your behavior means you are no longer welcome in the League of Legends community.
So yeah, you can see that i was pretty raging, but have i wished cancer to anyone, have i harassed them, have i intentionally fed ? I have not said to anyone " you are a bad player u suck u should die and things like that " My score in that game was 2-7-1, yes the score is bad but its not 0-30-0 I have not intentionally fed I had a bad game, so how is this ban worthy can anyone here explain this to me ? Yes I have been banned in the past and I am trying to improve but I do not understand how a chat log like this can be perma banable ??? I had people trolling me in the past intentionally feeding flaming me with words that you would not imagine, yet this people walk freely through league of legends community and I am the one who got banned for this ??? please anyone...

^This (and most of the chat really), is pretty minor. But it is still negative, as implying a champ is "no skill" also implies the player has no skill.

when getting dived 7 times ??? how am i trolling? just answer one question did one of you come when i got dove? 6 times? did you?

^This is also minor, but it is also quite confrontational and passive aggressively accusatory of your team.

Honestly this single match is very borderline, but it could lead to punishment if it added to a consistent pattern. The link you provided says you were perma'd.

Have you been previously punished?

Typically the punishments are based on number of previous punishments, not severity of current offense. And from what I understand, the transition from 14 day to perma is much more sensitive.

Tier 1 - 10 game chat ban Tier 2 - 25 game chat ban Tier 3 - 14 day full ban Tier 4 - perma ban

If your last punishment was a 14 day, then even something as light as this would result in perma if it resulted in a punish verdict.

The reason for this is because to get here you had to have already thrown out 3 other chances to reform.

The problem is less in what you were trying to do, and more how you did it.

This series of text specificlly:

Players don't have to answer your questions. They are not there for that, they are there to play.

Honestly its hard to tell without actual time stamps(Why did they remove those from the logs??), but if this was all one after the other, it could be taken as you badgering the other players.

If it becomes clear they are negatively responding to your chat, then stop chatting.

Your second chances were the chat restriction and the 14 day ban, heck those alone are 3 chances. More than enough for anyone to understand that the actions are doing are against Riot and their standards!

Also note that this is t the only reason why you were ban. It's the continuous toxic behavior. It shows that you aren't learning from your punishment.

Well as I have read the tribunal " adult language " is okay as long as its not directed on a player... saying " irelia is a retarded champion" is ban worthy is that what you are saying ?

I'm saying I would report such behavior if I saw it in game, and in the Tribunal I would have voted to punish it.

But also be clear: this game by itself did not get you banned. A whole bunch of negative games together got you banned. This was just one of many. It's important to remember that, barring seriously offensive hate speech and the like, no one game will ever get you banned. It takes a history of repeated problems, including several warnings about your behavior, before a ban happens.

You had a second chance at your 14 day ban. You wouldn't shut up about Irelia being a no skill champ. That is what got you. Can you not, for a single instant, see how another player might find that hard to take?

I mean....I personally don't think that chat log was worth enough for punishment. They probably got you because you used retard in a derogatory way.

But be prepared for the flood of "omg u so toxic gud thing u baned" posts.

To answer your question, there isn't really anything you can do. You had 3 previous warnings. Rito doesn't overturn "toxicity" punishments.

No, it wasn't 1 word for a perma ban. The new system is 4 punishments, you're out. Calling things retarded is most likely what earned you the 4th punishment. Your previous 3 punishments should have been a warning. So it was 3 punishments + a 4th chat log deemed "toxic" that got you a permaban, not 1 word.

So this game on its own wouldn't have resulted in a permanent ban. Have you gotten chat restrictions before or a 14 day ban? Everybody gets 4 strikes and if you were on your last strike even a minor offense can result in a permanent ban.

My guess is that the automated system honed in on the word "retarded" (the system cannot tell what context the word is used) and that combined with your other raging and people reporting you was enough to trigger a punishment. Even if other people are flaming you that doesn't give you the right to retaliate.

It is extremely rare for Riot to reverse permanent bans. However, you could submit a support ticket and try to explain that you weren't calling someone retarded (just the champion in general) and that you don't understand how the rest of your chat is offensive. My guess is that you're request will get denied the first couple times but if you keep escalating the issue you have a very small chance at the ban being reversed (though its really unlikely.)

Moving forward, here's some advice to avoid punishments in the future:

  1. Never use any word that can be construed as discriminatory or hate speech, even if its not directed at another person. This includes all racial slurs (even %%%%%), retard, autistic, %%%got, down syndrome, etc. Those kind of words combined with people reporting you will pretty much always result in a punishment, regardless what context you used them.
  2. Don't respond to people taunting you. Just mute them.
  3. Your team doesn't need to gank for you, regardless how many times you get ganked. If you are getting ganked over and over you need to adjust your play style and play very defensively. Also, let you team know that the enemy team is camping top and tell them to push other objectives or come top to set up a counter gank. That shows that you are intelligently thinking about how your team can win and not just complaining about getting camped.
  4. Put yourself in your teammates' shoes when talking to them. If you were the jungler and your top laner was talking like you did would you come gank for him? Instead of saying "omg I've been ganked so many times stupid jungler where are my ganks?" say something like "Irelia is constantly over extending and diving me, come top and its an easy kill."
  5. If you're getting stomped in your lane then try to get back into the game by roaming. As a top laner ask your bot lane to place a ward in one of the bushes behind the enemy and then teleport to the ward when the enemy bot lane over extends. This allows your team to get bot tower (which is global gold for you) and allows you to get dragon.
  6. If the enemy top laner can dive you 1v1 and live then you just need to back off and sacrifice the tower. There's no point in you dying to defend a tower that's already going to fall. Most people will hard push the lane and all you have to do is freeze the lane just before your inner turret and you can force her to overextend or allow you to catch back up in CS/exp. The danger of doing this is it allows her to roam more and gank you allies so you need to make sure you ward up the river between top and mid lane (since that's the lane she'll most likely go) and make sure you ping MIA (or even tell your mid laner you expect her to gank mid and to play safe.)

if you talk in chat you are toxic what ever you say everyone is so easily offended its better if you never talk and dont even try to get your account back riot dont care about you i got perma ban for not playing a years they blame me for toxic but have no chat record riot staff will never admit the tribunal made a mistake if you want you can join my group to sue them we are 8 now im trying to get some more so they cant hide it

Did you outperform any premades? That's usually what gets you. Make a bunch of lazy, afk, obnoxious premade babies angry and the report numbers ban you real quick.
