Sometimes when playing in a game if I make a bad play or a mistake and die I'll get a ... In the chat which is really unsupportive of your teammates because they are supposed to work with you to Achieve victory. Worse still is when they are silent after a bad play, not even reassuring that it'll be ok and can be made up for. If teammates are supposed to be on your side then make this a reportable offense. To be silent after a bad play implies a toxic, judging attitude. It is absolutely unacceptable behavior, teammates need to either be reassuring THROUGHOUT the game or not play at all.

Silence is nothing. It literally is nothing. If you feel it is judging then you are the one with a problem, because there's nothing but your own insecurities adding context to the lack of chat. Don't read into it.

Your team could very well be on your side, but your own mind is not. I hope this makes sense.

Typing something like "..." is a little different, but just not saying anything shouldn't be something that bothers you.

Going "..." can be passive-aggressive, but if they only do it once or twice just ignore them. If they are spamming it at every death, mute and report them. If they act like this in a lot of their games they may be punished for it.

If they aren't saying anything, that's not really a bad thing. Would you rather they start arguments and throw around insults instead? There is nothing wrong with it as long as they are still using pings to communicate; nobody is obligated to chat.

Would rather have a team mate going "..." to me when I screw up than insulting me and my mother over a video game.

At least the silence isn't as offensive.
