The Sad state of bot games

Was just in a bot game with 3 bots on our team. Gone are the days where you used to be able to try out new champs and mess around or meet new players through such games. Now you'll have to play a snowball champ seriously and hope the bots don't feed harder than you can carry.

These bots just rush boots and walk up mid to die over and over again. I have reported them every time I encounter them, but they are still around and seem to be getting more.

Now almost every game you'll get a handful of bots on your side and it's only a matter of time before its you and 4 bots vs 5 enemy bots.

Why do you have to play snowball champ seriously to win at vs ai?

Get used to it. Riot has this very low on their priority list.

I recently played an Intermediate Summoner's Rift game where there were three bots on my team. In the next game (where there was a bot or two), an Ezreal told me that they had four bots in the previous game. Not a game goes by when there isn't at least one. They've become widespread, whereas I never used to see them. Heck, I even saw some on Treeline PvP in April, which would entirely determine which team would win the game.

I feel a similar need to play a carry champion, which tends to force me away from playing Support. Although ADC is currently my favorite role, Support is a close second. Some games I'll head to the bottom lane with a item 3302 only to find that the Spoils of War are useless as we have a trio mid and a jungler who's baffled and not sure whether to hold the vacant top or farm the camps. When I pick Soraka , no amount of healing will ever help a 0/15 (K/D) midlane Braum against a 15/0 Veigar who's 3-4 items ahead. Another disappointment was when I wanted to play a particular champion but they were grabbed first by a bot. This bot mindlessly fed all game long while the player probably just watched some YouTube while getting free IP and XP.

"An enemy is legendary! ... An enemy is legendary!" Sound familiar?

I think I know a way that might help Riot catch bot-using players. Every pre-game lobby, I've noticed that players who use bots don't seem to show up as having "joined the lobby" in the chat window. Could this give Riot clues as to who might be using them?

I pretty much count on getting at least one unless I am playing a full custom game with friends. It's sad.

How about sad state of game balance?

Only a couple champions out of hundreds than can carry?
