Chat restriction to teammates ban for me?

This banning or report system is absolutely ridiculous, how can I witness my duo/trio spam %%%%%% and constant flame then proceed to leave the game and only get a chat restriction? I've gotten perm banned twice, the first one I agree with because I was actually toxic. Now I get banned for saying %%%%%% 3 times in a game and defending myself from my teammates roasting me. I've never gotten a chat restriction in my life and maybe that would be better as how I've spent probably close to $1000 on this fucking game. This is my first complaint about a ban because of how ridiculous the fucking system is. I have friends who can leave back to back games and get reported by 9 people every game they leave and never get anything even said to them. The fact that I get banned for saying gay literally as a meme is fucking ridiculous "sona.exe has contracted gay", never do my teammates or even my toxic ass fucking duo partners get any action taken. I don't know what the fuck is wrong with your dumbass system but it needs to be fixed. I would love to get unbanned or be perm muted but I know it's not gonna happen because you guys don't give a shit, surprises me how much more toxic people are than me but only get a chat restriction.

You only get banned if you're being repeatedly toxic after several warnings. Saying "kys" would net you a 14 day ban, so you must be extremely toxic to get a perma.

I barely say anything in my games, 90% of the time it's me defending myself because my teammates are trying to roast me.

You don't need to defend yourself in chat. Just mute the flamers and report them post-game.

But still have never once gotten something like a chat restriction and have people who I play with daily who are toxic nearly every game but get chat restrictions, the system is retarded.

First of all from what I read he never said kys, and he also never got chat restricted he just went from a temp ban to a perm ban ,but sorry if kys offends you so much bud you suicidal or...

Yes. I 100% agree with you. Sadly we both know Riot will say no. They make more money if it was a permanent ban compared to a permanent mute.

How is it that you believe that someone who just lost any and all progress and content in the game is going to spend more money than someone who believes that they will keep all their stuff that they purchase?

No. Something similar was already tried once before; endless chat restrictions based on chat behavior.

You could constantly stack games upon games of chat restrictions for poor chat behavior, to the point where there were some people running around with hundreds and even thousands of games of chat restriction.

Here's the problem, Riot found that such people didn't stop misbehaving just because they were no longer able to speak in the game. They were likely to just troll to take their anger out on teammates when they couldn't use chat to do it. So Riot scrapped the endless chat restrictions. What was the point when those people would just change to trolling, a much harder to detect and catch form of poor behavior?

The point I'm trying to get out is that I know people who are crazy toxic and haven't even gotten a 14-day ban, I'm talking kids who get reported nearly every game, all they get is a chat restriction. Shouldn't those people be the ones getting banned and people in my situation get chat restricted?

Listen, bud. People cant instantly believe you. From your point of view, you may be innocent, from riots your guilty. At the end of the day, riot thinks you are guilty, and thats all there is to it. Unfortunately, flaming is not tolerated while trolling is, I know this from first hand experience. If you have a flamer or troller in your team, as much as I hate to say it, the only option you have is to mute and report, the 30 minutes you lost and the lp you lost will sadly not return however.

The system is broken but nothing about it will change.

Trolling is not tolerated either and they do get hit by bans as well.

But the sad fact of the matter is that it is a much easier thing to determine if someone has poor behavior in chat than if someone has poor behavior through gameplay. This difference is not something Riot can just overcome.

I doubt you know of all of the circumstances that surround the people you're talking about.

The system is largely automatic and everyone is treated the same based on their priors once reported.

If they are spamming derogatory slurs I agree that they should receive a 14-day ban. But I'm not sure how that that has any bearing on your own punishment for also saying derogatory slurs. Failing to catch other people does not mean that your punishment should be more lenient when you were caught.

I don't? I duo/trio with them daily, of course I know exactly what the circumstances are because 90% of the time I'm in their game..

That still leaves circumstances such as how you are able to know how often they reported.

As well as the rest of my comment past that first sentence.
