Riot punishments

Is it just me or does Riot Games do nothing to the trolls who ruin the game, but if you hurt a trolls feelings you get banned? How many people feel this way? I feel like Riot needs to look at more reports. Especially in bronze, the enemy team doesn't report trolls because they just view it as funny and "freelo". Riot, do something about this please. I run into trolls DAILY and I've been playing this game since season 4. I find it ridiculous that if I say one offensive and/or politically incorrect thing to a troll that hurts their feelings I get punished. It is stupid, the way you handle these things. you need to look more in depth at what triggers these reactions. Why do people get upset at eachother? Why did this person say this? Is the reason they got upset valid? There should be more to it than finding one bad thing being said and punishing them for it even though they may have reported the person for trolling, and it been a completely viable report, but just because the rest of the team didn't report it, nothing happens. Please Riot do something.

I just got a 14 day ban because I got tilted at a troll, and I just looked, the troll is still able to play, when they were inting and griefing the entire match. Yes I said some bad things to them, but my team thought it was funny, and didn't report the troll. That's not my fault. I reported them too, but because I said something and all they did was grief you did nothing to them, when they are the ones ruining your game.

RITO PLEASE

There's more to this story but inting is harder to detect.

It's actually ridiculous, players like https://i.gyazo.com/04c879e52a1615ccceb0f3e34cc34123.png are still playing the game today, but if you dare call this troll a fucking monkey, you have a high chance of getting chat restricted

Why would it matter whether the enemy team reports?

One report is all that is needed to trigger the system to review the game and 9 reports does the same thing as 1 report.

Its just you. Trolls do frequently get reported and banned. Stop whining. You verbally abused or "flamed" someone, which is a violation of the Riot Rules. But you don't get a 14 day ban just because of a few words you said one time. Getting a 14 day ban usually means you either called this person several racial slurs, you started to troll yourself, or this is not the first time this has happened. Secondly, several reports on the same person in a match do not do anything. One report is used and the others are disregarded.

Secondly, people are not obligated to report people. You reporting someone because they didn't agree with you is honestly hilarious.

Is it just me

Yes. Your perception is slated to seeing more negative experiences and ascribing malicious intent to basic relative incompetence.

if you hurt a trolls feelings you get banned?

If they are a troll, then their feelings weren't hurt. They were baiting you into running afoul of the IFS. Remember: A troll WANTS you to call them out and yell at them. That is their purpose. Don't feed the troll.

I run into trolls DAILY

I'm willing to bet that the majority of them aren't actually trolls. Maybe some of them are actually trolls, but it's not likely.

Is the reason they got upset valid?

It probably is valid. But it isn't justification. If someone harasses you, mute them so that you are not tempted to respond. If someone trolls you, ignore them because they want you to respond. If someone has a shit game, keep your cool because nothing you do will make them play any better.

I'm going to assume the 'troll' was the Taliyah. Who, upon review, was a Bronze 5 player in lane against a Silver 5 Fizz. As I mention in my first line: you are assuming malicious intent to the action when in truth, the player was substantially less competent than the opponent. I'm sorry you got bad matchmaking balance.
