Happens in every server, NA is just the poster child.

For the record, I played on the EUW server for a while and got called "hijo de puta" by some Spanish kid. (For those of you who don't speak Spanish, that's being called the "son of a whore".)

people know that, but their goal isn't to make their teammates do better. If anything, they don't care whether they win or not. They just want a reason to trashtalk at others, make them suffer, then get the pleasure out of it. Play in NA server for a brief moment and anyone would come to realize it.

Yes I agree, pointing out others mistakes can help them learn from them but 9/10 times people are rude and that can just push the person towards rejecting they made a mistake / continue the behavior pattern.

sometimes simply saying nothing is positivity.

usually telling people what to do is negativity, even if said in a positive light.

usually raging in chat will make their effective skill drop that game. and guaranteed it makes yours drop, because the time you take to type is time you aren't paying attention to the game, and time you aren't prepared for game inputs.
