Harassment banning.

Should RIOT ban people who harass players? or should they block them from talking in-game? personally i think they should block them.. they could've pay for the game and stuff like that and at the end they get banned from a game they like for verbal abuse, what if they defend themselves? we never know but i honestly think RIOT should change that to a blocking system instead of banning.. also, before the game, they put a chat restriction to only call their lane. what about you guys? should they change that?

If a player refuses to reform after serving a 10-game chat restriction followed by a 25-game chat restriction, it's pretty obvious they aren't actually trying to improve how they act. So I'm perfectly fine with them deciding that after a final warning (14-day ban), if the player still doesn't get the hint, they should be removed from the game.

I agree aswell but instead of a ban, they could permanently block the player from chatting in-game. I think it's a better idea and they will still buy RP.. playera know they're toxic so they don't pay for the game because they know they'll be banned, you know what i mean?

That's like prepping to go to jail instead of choosing to not commit a crime in the first place.

If a player wants that badly to make the game miserable for people, they'll find other ways to do it if they can't chat.

Through their gameplay. Intentional feeding, stealing/sabotaging CS or jungle camps/exp, walking away from fights, baiting teammates into bad fights, trying to solo baron once it spawns, ping spamming... do I need to continue?

There are far more ways to ruin the game for others beyond just what is said in chat, and players who are just wanting to make the game miserable for others will find a way to do that without chat. Guaranteed.

these are understandable, but i'm talking about being toxic, not feeding or any of these stuff just trash talk, the ones you mention i agree with them, they should ban for these, but verbal abuse? i don't think

Erm, trolling in the game is toxic. Taking away chat from a player who is willing to be toxic in chat is only going to force them to find other means of being toxic in game. It doesn't actually solve anything.

i completely disagree trolling is different but think what you want to each has his opinion :P if the blocking doesnt work then they go back to banning
