i might have discovered a boosted/bought account

I joined a ranked match and was surprised by my mid laner, I then went to op.gg to search him up and I found out that he is a plat but has 31% winrate? and also the player that was playing with the account before (boosting it) was an adc main and had 60% winrate with vayne, then you suddenly see a huge change in the account, it stopped being an adc main, started loosing a lot of matches and the overall performance of the account was no where near being plat elo.

Hey jwan20, I've edited out the op.gg link because player reporting/shaming on the boards is against the Universal Rules. We don't want to cause drama or start a witch hunt, but we do want to discuss this sort of behavior on this board so as long as you leave out or censor the names it's ok.

He has a 50% winrate. And he doesnt really have that impressive KDA with Vayne.

but the account looks sketchy and it does not seem that he is plat. look at his kda in the past 20 games.

Well look his match history to begining of season, no games were impressive to look like boost. All u need to climb to plat is to maintain positive winrate. Usually boosted accounts have matches where they stomp opponents and solo carry games. Maybe he played DUO with someone who carried him to plat.
