Ban Review

I've been permanently banned for about a year now. Long story short:

  • Took a long hiatus from LoL
  • Around the time of the hiatus thousands of accounts were compromised and e-mails were sent out to immediately change your passwords
  • I came back months after the incident to an account I couldn't log into
  • I went through the lengthy recovery account ordeal and answered all my questions with answers no one else could match
  • Great player support, recovered my account
  • Logged in, my online name was now different, whoever had compromised my account had bought a name change
  • I played one game and logged out
  • Tried logging in about a week later, I was permanently banned for third party program use (I'm assuming while my account was compromised, they were using third party programs)

I've never hacked in a game before and try to facilitate a great playing environment on my end. When I tried to fight this, I was ignored and not listened to ( bad player support ). Would it be possible for someone to review all the tickets I opened in this matter? The answer pretty much was, you are responsible for having your account compromised. I've played dozens of games online and have never done anything to have an account compromised and do everything on my end to keep all my gaming accounts safe.

I did, no one really listened to what I was saying. It was frustrating because I was a loyal player since alpha. It's funny because the support was amazing when I was recovering my account, but when I was permanently banned and I tried opening a ticket to overturn it, nobody listened to my keypoints. The ingame name that i'm posting with isn't even mine, there has to be tracking of where the IP Location changes to the credit card number.

Send in a support ticket. This is really the best advice that I can offer. I hope this gets resolved for you!

Thanks, haven't played since I was banned but now EVERYONE I know is playing it even family and I got an itch. I just don't have the time with school and work to re-level an account and the account I lost had a lot of sentimental value :)

Hello, I am glad you posted about this! Make sure you file a support ticket, that is the only way you can get your account back if you have lost access to it completely.

Exact same story with me man. Im not sure if we can get our accounts back no matter how innocent we might be :/. Ive seen other members get their accounts back after a suspension so it is possible. We just have to be patient i guess

I got banned for no reason and they won't give my account back.

Just about the same thing happened to me. I had not played since early 2014, and I just came back about 2 weeks ago to find that my password was changed and that I had been hacked. Whoever hacked me brute forced my account while I was gone around march of this year, because it had a password I used for absolutely nothing else. Well I changed my password and and sent in a ticket to clear things up and answered the questions.

Fast forward a couple weeks (now) and I try to log in only to see that I was banned for using 3rd party programs. The strange thing is that the hacker had not played a game since late april... so if this is a delayed ban, then holy crap it took them a long time to sort it out. They didn't even tell me my account was under investigation or anything, nor did I receive a warning at any point.

I also sent in a ticket today... but after reading many of these posts, including yours, I am starting to accept that it is gone forever. They don't seem to respond to these 3rd party program ban appeals what so ever... good luck to you man.
