Got permanently banned after I only got banned once for 2 weeks.

Okay soooo, on 4 November 2017 I got banned for 2 weeks after saying "Kys" as a joke I even stated that after the "Kys". I accepted that part, I did wrong and I said something terrible. I had no bans before that at all. Now 3 months after that 3 February 2018 I got permanently banned for defending my support while she was being flamed. Sona used her ult without needing it, the jungler said "Sona, are you retarded?" then she said "Sorry" then he said "you're so bronze" so I was like "stfu zac" "you %%%". Then the Zac proceeded to call her bronze again, so I said "you're the bronze here, dumbass." After that Zac was hard flaming again and I said "Toxic ass %%%." We were doing well, we won every team fight so there was no reason for Zac to be tilted or flame. Right after this game I got permanently banned... You think this is what I should get for this? Losing my 200 euro worth account that I had for 2 years with only 1 ban... Can I get my account back or at least have my money refunded to my new account? I shouldn't have said "%%%" I know but this is just insane. 3 months after a 2 week ban without any bans before that I get permanently banned for defending my support. Can I at least get something back? Getting my account back would be the best thing but I know that's a lot to ask for, so can I at least get my money back? I hope you can understand how mad I am at this moment, thank you for your response in advance.

There are different tiers of punishments, and they generally follow this path:

  • First Offense: 10 Game Chat Restriction
  • Second Offense: 25 Game Chat Restriction
  • Third Offense: Two Week Suspension
  • Fourth Offense: Permanent Suspension

However, it is possible to skip to a Two Week or Permanent suspension based on the severity of the behavior in the game. Excessive negative behavior can result in a Two-Week or Permanent suspension at any time without having a chat restriction on the account.

Because you've had a 14 day in the recent past, any further punishments automatically result in a permanent ban. It takes many games over a long time span with no history of negative behavior from that point for your account to drop punishment tiers.

Riot doesn't offer refunds of any sort, and once an account is perma-banned, it stays that way unless the ban was a mistake. If you do continue to play on a new account in the future, I highly suggest you don't reply to those kinds of players. Flaming them back puts you at risk, and doesn't solve the problem. The best option will always be to mute and report the offending player after the game.

A 2-week ban should tell you that you are on the toxic side if you did get perma you can't defend yourself because you had the 2 week before. It is in R.I.O.Ts terms of use.
