Can riot suspend you for not doing anything

Ive been suspended for 6 months for no reason. the only thing they sent me on my email was to read the rules which i never once violated. Like -_-

You were not banned for 6 months, this is a permanent ban. If you want more information regarding your ban, you need to submit a support ticket. Be patient, as it can take a few days to get a response.

All I can do is suggest you submit a support ticket. Since you already have, there's nothing you can do but wait for a response. You need to be patient as Player Support is constantly swamped with tickets, so it can and most likely will take a while for you to get a response. While waiting, do not create any new tickets or bump your existing one. All that will do is make you wait longer.

That doesnt seem right as the only types of bans they do is 14 days and Permaban!

This isn't a 6-month ban; this is a "permanent suspension" until the year 2100. It's best to submit a ticket to Riot Games Player Support for more clarification on your suspension.

Riot has no interest in suspending players for no reason. Once you have a ticket in, let me know.

If DrCyanide's hunch is right, then it's a compromised account suspension that may be lifted once your account is secure. But I don't have more informaion on your case at this time, so Player Support is the best place to get clarification.

EDIT: Seems like a compromised account suspension. At this time, I'd like to recommend going through your accounts (email, League, etc) and change your passwords. Before you do that, please also run an antivirus scan to ensure that you don't have a virus. ESET NOD32 has a free trial that should remove most malware, but that's up to you.

Again, Riot may return the account once it's secure, but the best thing you can do is stay calm and go through the steps of securing your other accounts. You don't want strangers going through your emails and whatsuch.

Create a support ticket. There's one source that says a 2100 year means the account was banned because it looked like someone stole the credentials, and if that's the case they can unban you pretty fast.

It's a new ticket, so give it time. If you don't receive a response in 96 hours from creation, let me know and Incan double check the status for you.

in that e-mail you posted where you showed it on the forum here, delete your username where they say Greetings Xname, change it because it's your username :)

Don't worry I feel how you are feeling. Hopefully Riot responds which why you were banned and if wrongly accused they can lift it.

intentional feeding? my match history doesnt say anything that i intentionally fed in a game tho. and im in a five man team, my friends wouldnt report me for doing good. i emailed them asking what did i do wrong and they havent replied. i need answers T.T

If that's easily how you get players banned for doing so. There are plenty of players who would've been complaining for just a game they 'intentionally fed' in... I don't think that's how it works buddy.

I agree with you, I got a 14 day suspension but that one is pretty harsh. 3rd party programs? Intentional feeding repeatedly, something along those lines, ill check the int for u in ur match history

Make a new account in the meanwhile, they take forever to respond to support tickets

never did i once do a third party thing, only the LoLChat app to send messages, but riot made that app too. :( i was so close to getting into the rank i want tho :(

I checked your match history, it doesn't seem like any of the games you played showed evidence of 'intentional feeding' however if you typed in any or many of the games (I'm gonna feed bro) or something along those lines and got reported, that might be why.

Not to scare you or create anything bad but there are some hackers out there as well who create fake e-mails and websites, etcs. Some hackers can change your password or etcs and make it believable into thinking you're banned. In other words, don't click anything phishy either.
