I Keep Seeing The Same Phrases Used On This Board

'Riot Supporter', 'Riot Lover', 'Riot Apologist', ect.

I'm sorry, but why exactly are people using these as insults? I don't exactly put the company on a pedestal and am only a casual player at best, but it's almost like people want to support a company whose game they enjoy for free... If there are actually people out there that find Riot's rules so unthinkably soft or unreasonable, why the heck are they still around complaining on the boards? There are plenty of other games out there that they can play.

I think it's in line with people feeling Riot isn't balancing or really fixing up their games. This season has been bunch of excuses and the trend is that there are number of people leaving League because of that frustration. So some people who feel like people who support Riot are blind or ignorant. Not me, just some.

Yes, there is never any reason to complain about something you pay/paid for. If you don't like it, just throw it away. Right?

It's mostly used by banned troll ragers (or just trolls and ragers in general) who are mad at those who won't give them the Yesman answers that they want (i.e. that behaving like a jerk is perfectly acceptable). Basically if someone doesn't agree with the whole "I should be allowed to behave however I want with no consequences" excuse then they're generally labeled as a "Riot sympathizer" or whatever other excuse that they come up with.

They also tend to use it as an insult whenever they have no real argument after their other arguments and claims have been proven as false (i.e. "I have no real argument so I'm just gonna insult you instead").

you probably haven't played this game long enough to see how downhill it's become, all due to the company. Players are literally asking for the opposite of what riot gives thats why everything's like that so far. Yea its a free game, but when you see the devs and decision makers in the company killing the game it's hard not to feel a certain way
