Title says it all, just trying to appeal this account. I already read the stickied post explaining that this board doesn't overturn punishments, but it will at least be worth a try. I pumped a lot of money onto this specific account and miss that I could play any champ (owned them all). It has the history of playing with my friends from back in Season 3-5, before they quit and I found a new group to play along with. I understand that I'll be denied, but I've been really trying.

Things I've discovered about toxicity; 1) Voice is paramount to not being an ass to randoms, 2) Remembering that everyone on your team is a human (at least the VAST majority are, the fringe few are leveling bots, which you don't see in 30+), 3) Muting cross-team chat will reduce the likelihood that you'll gripe to enemy team about your team's failings, 4) Pros lose games, but they at least learn - so to must I.

tl;dr Please unban my account, even though this board doesn't do that. A dude can hope. If not, at least I've learned;

  1. Voice comms help reduce toxicity
  2. Treating people like people reduces toxicity
  3. Disallowing cross-team chat reduces toxicity
  4. Pros lose too, so you're ok to lose sometimes.

Once you are permabanned, nah. People may feel bad for you, you may feel bad yourself about it, however you had multiple chances of reforming. As far as i know of, not even Tyler1 got his main account back, nor any of the other banned accounts. He was just allowed to play again without having the account banned on sight.

View me however you want, view the words however harshly, however not only is the boards unable to do anything more than provide and pass information back and forth.... but the majority also know that if, SOMEHOW by some miracle that you got unbanned.... that they would have to do it with pretty much every single other persons accounts that claim to have reformed, and then there would be an absolute and total mess of trolls who want their accounts back so they can continue on trolling. Also there would be a nightmare of trying to figure out if this is the original account owner or someone else trying for the account that just got the password and username.

You will get the skins back eventually, you will get the champs back eventually, just think of this as similar to restarting a pokemon game to try out the different starter pokemon.

Personally, I don't mind an appeal system, but I'd like to see those appealing go through a rigorous screening, reform behavior proof / auditing over lots of games (maybe a year's worth of games), and probably community service.

The problem is not that the board doesn't grant appeals, but that it cannot grant appeals. The vast majority of us are not Rioters, including the moderators, so we have no authority over punishments that result in game.

Personally, I wish people would recall that "multiple chances to reform" is a misnomer as the infraction -> punishment scale heavily slides against the player with each escalating punishment. You could go from calling other players swear words and garbo all game and end up with a chat restriction, to not swearing but giving lines and lines and lines of text trying get your teammates to stop feeding and end up getting the 14 day ban for harassing and arguing, then you end up in a game with a report baiter and end up calling them an idiot bronze child for their antics and end up permanently banned, despite all your efforts to reform along the way.

Any who, what is sounds like you're actually asking for is the revival of the classic tribunal, where players are the ones in charge of punishment protocol. Iunno if I want to trust the fates of players to most of the denizens of this board, that's for sure.

Just send your appeal to Riot Support! :)

You will find out that Boards won't unban you no matter how much you beg in the same way that Riot eventually realized that you wouldn't get with the program and just behave yourself no matter how much they encouraged good behavior and punished poor behavior.
