Can we discuss rqs?

After 2 rage quits 2 days in a row. I'm beginning to wonder why the punishment isn't more strict on the person quitting. I get it this game has a way of bringing out the worst in people and sometimes people have to leave or have some emergency come up and that's understandable enough. Life happens, But why is the worst you can get from quitting out and wasting everyone's time a ban. (never been banned dont know how long they last but still). In a competitive environment it seems like a better punishment would be treating an early ff due to afk more like a remake. The players who had the afk lose little to no lp and the team that won gets the lp they deserve while the remaining lp loss is afforded to the player that left. Like all of the lp the others would have accrued and then some. Shit honestly drop ranks for it. Idk just feels like banning a player from a game that they quit due to their bad attitude seems like a step backward.

This has been suggested before, as it's extremely easy to abuse, like for a duoque, or simply flaming someone to hell to get them to quit.

Also have to consider the new influx of LP, because people end up losing marginally less.

Then there's also when they even rq, rage quitting 2 minuets before the game ends at 15 mins is hardly the reason a team lost.

Then it's algorithmically impossible to accurately tell a rage quit from a normal disconnect

After 2 rage quits 2 days in a row.

And it was different players who quit in all those games. People are not going to be severely punished for once instance of leaving a game.

it should period. especially for ranked. afking from a rank should be an instantly bannable offense cuz it garantees a loss but rito has no balls so

so if my isp or power company decided to crap the bed, I get to go from 100 LP to 0LP or negative LP for it?
